I'm spinning!!! It's going really well. This is day two. Is anyone else spinning?

I am too. I had the same problem. I couldn't find a single person who spins. But the rovings were so beautiful and I wanted to so much that I got the stuff and got started anyway. It's not really as hard as they make it out to be. smile I'm using a drop spindle which I've read is the harder of the ways to do it but much more cost effective. I'm already making useable yarn. I'm sure with more practice it will become smoother. smile I found this site really useful. You don't even need to buy your spindle. There's lots of tutorials that tell you how to make one from household objects.

Ooh, yay! It's yarn! You must feel so happy. I know I did once I finally got the spindle down. I spin mostly on my wheel now. I get really impatient, so I needed something a little faster than a spindle to spin on. I bought my wheel in September, and I've been going pretty much nonstop since it arrived.

I have one spindle that Shanana_Belle gifted me and I can't wait to get another! So relaxing, fun, and addicting!
