I FINALY MADE IT!!!! or at least the beginning. Here's the long awated RP for my Crew and members. I hope that all of you like it, and I hope that it will go all the way to the end!
Here are the rules: 1. I prefer good grammer. Write it out like it's a story. No short text like "omg," or "wtf." 2. No god modeing. I have this RP set in a certian way, and those who God Mode in this will mess it up. 3. Romance is allowed. Only keep it to a PG-13 level. No cybering. ew. 4. I prefer to have profiles so that we can see who the characters are. It isn't nesacary, but that's what I'd like to see. To see the Requirements for a profile, go to the profile forum and look for the Tales of a new Legacy. 5. I will be using the Dice rolling technique for battles. For those who don't know how they are used may consult the announcement in the main forum page. 6. Have fun! That's what this was made for. Don't bring in any drama to the players.
We will be using the Three strike method. Should a player break this rule, they shall get up to 2 warnings. Then they shall be banned from the Guild. Sorry, I just don't like people who test the limitations of rules.
That's just about it! We shall get this RP underway! Good luck and have fun!

In dark times, on the night of the silver arrow, a woodland creature would come to pass through a village, and take an unsuspecting wanderer. Year after year, this would occur, and eventually, it became tradition. A feared tradition, but a tradition none the less. However, there was one year that all of this would change.

As the day of the silver arrow appeared, the wise man of the village began to plan for the festival, and who among him would have to be the one to leave forever into the dark wood. He then put all the names of all the men and women in a jar, and decided it would be best to pick one out of the many names. He prayed to the gods that they would guide his hand into the jar and pick the one that the gods would favor.

From far above, the gods looked at each other, and pondered for a moment. After a long time of deliberation, they made a decision. The hand reached and grabed a name. As the hand was pulled out, the elder read the name Shina. Everyone knew the girl Shina, not only for the fact that she was the most beautiful, but for her fiance' as well. A stubborn man who loved her with all his heart, named Grippa.

The elder feared that the man Grippa would destroy him for this unpleasentry, and decided to wait till the night of the silver arrow. He then went to the lady Shina's house, and kidnapped her. He placed her in the center of the dark wood. After a short while, she awoke confused. Frightened, she began to call out loudly, for she knew that her Grippa would come to her rescue. A minute went by, then two. And then two became four, and four became eight, untill she finally lost track of all time. She then decided to pick a direction and start walking.

The man Grippa had been sleeping at this time, yet he heard the scuffle in her fiance's room. As he approached her room, he saw upon her door, a silver arrow. Which was the sign for the chosen one. Enraged, Grippa took his sword and began to search for the woodland creature's temple. Before he left, the village elder saw him. He attemted to hide from Grippa, but he caught the eldar out of the coorner of his eye. Grippa pulled his sword upon the elder exposing his location. He then spoke to the town elder, "Elder! I know that you chose her name. And it would be blasphimous for me to tell you to choose another. But I swear to you, that I will not let any harm come to the lady Shina. I shall find them and destroy them, even if it costs me my life." With that Grippa returned his sword to it's sheith. "Father, I know you would have chosen any other person in the village if it would only help us. I know you did not do this intentially, so there is no need to beg for forgiveness. I shall return, and my Shina shall be safe."

Now, it was well known where this temple was, so it was no hard task for Grippa to go there. As he made his way through the trees, the woods began to thicken. Deeper and darker seemed to be the norm, untill he came to a clearing. As he looked on the ground, he noticed the tracks of a girl. But, it seemed that there were another set of that seemed to follow it. A track of claws. Grippa noted a smell of blood about the air, and decided that his time would be spent better following the tracks.

It was not long that the two tracks became only the claw like tracks. At this very place, there was a necklace on the ground. A silver necklace that belonged only to Shina. Picking it up, he followed the tracks, continously through the deep dark wood. Another clearing was found, however, the stone temple of the woodland creatures was found in the middle of it. A high pitched scream echoed through the temple, as Grippa drew his sword. He was close. Nothing would stand in his way between the love of his life. Not even death.

Approaching the temple, he felt a faint rumbling beneath his feet, noted it, then thought nothing of it afterward. He continued in, looking at the temple's elabroate architecture. Fathomed by it, he nearly forgot what his purpose was there, or even the creature stirring behind him. A loud roar erupted from this creature, and it jumped into the air making it'self known to it's soon to be prey. A blinding flash of steel and blood erupted from the creature, as Grippa slashed through the beast in one great cleave. As he looked to see what attacked him, there seemed to be a flash of fear in Grippa's eyes. He had just killed a Namo Ne'ak. And there was always a problem with the Namo Ne'aks: They tend to travel in packs.

Continuing through the temple, only admiring the handywork, he continued deeper. Killing more beasts. He heard a loud scream, realizing that it was the voice of Shina. Picking up pace he rushed towards the sound. Finally, he entered a large chamber. He saw his beloved hanging by ropes from a stantion. Upon seeing her, his heart was filled with such joy that he called out to her, forgetting the danger around him.

"Shina!" he called, "My love I am here to rescue you!" She replied in turn, "Grippa! Get out of here! There is a monster here that plans to eat me! He is a foe beyond you! GO!" A loud roar erupted from the cave that was behind Shina. The beast had awoken, and was aggrivated. As it pulled it's head out from the cave, it became excited. It had more food. Grippa shuddered at the very sight of it. It was a creature that he had never seen before, it's eyes large, it's limbs crawling across the floor, and it's size, dear god it's size!

"Foolish mortal!" the creature said. "You dare to interupt me as I partake in my annual sacrifice! You shall be the next sacrifice to me. As I devour you, your bones will begin to burn. your flesh shall be pulled apart, and your scream will be the last thing you remember! As for this girl, she shall endure much worse!" With that, the creature lashed out at Grippa's precious Shina. No sooner had that action surpassed, the creature's grope was sevored. Writhing in pain, the creature screamed. Grippa's sword tasted it's blood. Turning around quickly, Grippa released his love and told her, "Run. I shall fight him off, and I shall defeat him!"

The battle raged on for an hour. Grippa slashed at the creature, but the creature tended not to show any signs of pain. Grippa finally became weak, exhausted with fatigue, and knelt down in front of the beast. "You fool," said the beast. "You shall now see what happens to those who defile the great lord Fougest!" Upon speaking those words to the tired grippa, it lashed out it's body towards him. *This has all been in vain,* thought Grippa. *I shall never see my love again, nor shall these killings ever stop! I have failed.*

A blinding white light erupted in front of Grippa. Confused as to why he was not in the mouth of the beast, he dared to look up, and saw his father, the village elder, in front of him! It seemed as if a a barrier of light separated the beast and them. "My child! Quickly! We must defeat Fougest!" the father shouted to his son. "How father? I have fought the beast for an hour without any signs of it's weaknesses!" Grippa noticed that the beast began to break through the barrier. The father explained, "You must stab it with your sword," his father lowered a hand and touched the blade. It began to glow a hint of blue. "The creature's soule shall bind it'self to the blade. From there you must hide it. Keep it safe! NOW GO!"

Grippa leaped from the barrier just as the beast broke through it. Grippa stabed the creature on it's head. Instantly, a black shadow from the beast flowed into the sword, changing it's bluish glow to a dark red. As the soul flowed, it spoke, "I will not be kept in a sword for all eternity! One day, one of your very own shall release me, and I shall have my revenge!" And with that, the monster's soule was gone. Grippa, as impressed as he was, stood back up and turned to his father for appretiation. His father looked at his son, and smiled. Then revealed a large limb through his body.
