Gryphon LooksSo how would, or indeed, should, a griffin look at LIFE DUST?
Kara has a few ideas about how she would like a griffin DUST to turn out as it grows and changes. Of course this falls ultimately to the artists but here are Kara's two cents on the matter..
As DUST, Kara would imagine that as a bottle and through it's earlier stages, griffin dust would remain fairly dark mundane colours, like that of a fledgling bird. There would maybe be one or two brighter colours as an indication of later stage colours. The idea of this is that as a young hatchling griffins, and more importantly birds, do not have their bright plumage. They have dark, practical camouflaging colours.

Through to it's FINAL stage Kara would be aiming to see more griffin like characteristics showing through.
Kara see's these traits as follows:
1. Wings - Kara wouldn't like large or indeed even practical or attached wings however. The idea behind this is that the dust creature is not a true griffin, it is the essence of griffin morals.. But wings are cool damnit, and 'griffs are meant to have 'em!
2. Ear Tufts - Because they're a classic griffin trait in Kara's eyes! xD They could be shown as either feathered tufts on the end of an ear or strangely upright short hair on either side of the head.
3. Tail - Because everyone like tails, you know.. And it's a lion! Bonus!
4. Talons - To reflect the fierce fighting side of a griffin.
The only trait that Kara would specify has to be included is a goatee.. Why? Because there is never enough sexy facial hair that isn't creepy and extensive..
