I haven't really named this yet(mainly because I'm not finished)... It just kinda ended up on paper one day so... 0o''''''''''
Dwindling on thine last fiber of a being That was never in your possession at the beginning What do you accomplish by denying fate? But to live evermore in the chaotic world of hate
Killing? Why more killing? Those already adorned With what is passed and evermore Art is here And art is now But when you kill it’s passed You take us right back To The beginning The beginning The beginning Why take this away? What we have You will take For no reason but to defy your fate
Fate is something that can easily be changed If you change your mind early enough in the game But once you are there you may not change your course For death is something that no one can ignore
But you You deny That you are human And that you share the same end And so you steal And so you take What little life We have left in our wake For you You say That art can only be preserved this way: In one life With no end With other lives you pretend
To be doing good things, to be preserving the passed But how does that help when you steal our future too? First you haunt the old and now you hunt our young What good is the passed if you’re our only future?
Before you read this bottom part, interpret the lyrics... What do you think the song is about?
Done thinking? Okay, if you read these lyrics carefully you should be able to find that it's about someone killing people to be immortal, see it now?
What did you origionally think it was about?

Tainted Lullaby
Hear her tears Watch her cry She thinks that she is going to die Daddy comes home; here he comes And now it’s about time to run
Hide from him; Get away He never has had much to say Actions speak so loud Voices are unnecessary
Maybe that’s why no one hears her screams
And heaven sings red stained lullabies For she is finally able to fly Far away on Red tinged wings But this is only one song; How many must sing?
Broken down; He will not cry He wants to leave, but can’t find reason why Girls can be cruel; But that’s only one half Going home, ain’t much of a blast
Because she’s coming home again Adopted Mommy dear She has ways of scaring him Let’s just end it here
And heaven sings black tainted lullabies He is finally able to fly Far away on Black spattered wings But this is only one song; How many must sing?
Once upon a child born dead His death cost him Mommy’s head Daddy got depressed of sorts Now first born is alone in the world
Daddy don’t mind giving him a drink Have a smoke; have a lick Forget what they tell you in school Drugs can’t hurt you as much as life do
Daddy died; no one heard baby boy. No one heard his cries
And heaven sings white bleached lullabies He is finally able to fly Far away on white washed wings But this is only one song; How many must sing?
This is only one song how many must sing
This is only One Song

ZOMG I actually posted one!
It doesn't have a title...
The wind nipped at his face and made his eyes water,
His mind filled with sorrow at the thought of her,
The leaves crunched underneath his feet,
The crows screeched making his heart miss a beat,
He tripped and fell into an oak tree hard as lead,
He could feel a warm wet bead trickle down his head,
Head pounding, thinking of how he missed her so,
Crows took notice and swooped down low,
He still clearly remembers the day she died,
A sharp pain seared through him as a beak pierced his side,
The pain too great, pain crept into his eyes,
Everything grew dimmer; he could barely hear the crow’s cries,
All sorrow left him because he could now be with her,
They could once again be what they once were,
The crows pecked at him where he lay,
He begged for blackness to come his way.
hope you like it!

Home Again, Home AgainI swear I’ll come up with something better to say I’ll make life better, day by day I’ll change- leave everything behind to decay Come home again, come home again I’ll give you my money- I’ll steal you food I’ll sit on the floor- Polish your shoes I’ll do anything- what ever you choose Come home again, Come home again I’ll starve myself and pray to the gods I’ll switch religion- what ever you want I gamble no matter what the odds But you won’t Come home again, come home again But no matter what, you aren’t coming back Godly powers are something I lack Instead I’ll sit on your tombstone, pretending somehow I can Bring you home again, Get you home again

About The AirTip toeing through the breeze Weightless; the ground is my trapeze Whistling is how I do my jig Through the trees, Ancient and sprig I am the one helping the fire spread I am the one blowing candle flames dead I am the one who no body sees I am the one disturbingly at ease I am she who cares for no babe I am he who can’t hold one wife I am thee who just doesn’t care Tip toeing silently about the air

Shut The Hell UpI’m not gonna yell at you I’m not gonna yell like you I’m not gonna taunt like you do I’m still not gonna let it drop like you do I won’t say I thought I knew you Because I know then you’d be happy And that won’t do I won’t say I thought you we my friend I’m not gonna say you promised till the end But I will say you can’t hide any more Behind your false manners and stupid smiles Behind the friends You think you have Behind the face I now despise Behind the light acceptance Backed by heavy prejudice And I won’t take you seriously anymore. But I will say That as much as you say you’ve been through I thought that you’d be better than them I thought that you’d have respect, unlike them I thought you’d understand, unlike them. But I will say I thought better of you Images tarnish so easily now All it takes is one snigger One idiot One moment Where you could have just shut the hell up Or better yet, try and help God forbid…

Heres one of the best poems I wrote Who am I? Steven Daubenmeyer
Who am I? The nerd the geek the weird-o, The guy who can’t get a girl, The guy who has no life, The guy with dork friends, Or am I the guy who says I’m a nerd and I’m proud. I’m the guy, who breaks off from the main stream, The guy who thinks Hollister and Abercrombie are crap, The guy who listens to all the old music, The guy who reads the books about zombies, ninjas and Super-Heroes. The guy who’s been turned down by every girl, The guy who’s been picked on, The guys who been excluded, The guy who thinks it’s ok to be a nerd, weird, dork or geek. The guy who plays World of Warcraft and Dungeons and Dragons, The guy who colors outside the lines, The guy whose thoughts write in a different color ink, I’m the guy, who’s going to tear down the walls between cool and lame, Same and different Popular and nerdy In crowd and outcasts I’m the guy who doesn’t care if you’re gay, straight, black, white, cool, lame, weak, strange, ugly or pretty,
They say the music I listen to is the Devil’s, The say the games I play corrupt me, And the T.V. rots me, But those are the things that free me, Free me from the ordinary, Free me from the bullies, Free me from the voices the say I don’t try my best, I don’t try my best, I do my best, and if you don’t like my best shut your mouth! I don’t do my best for you, For my teachers, My parents, My friend, or my class, I do it for me, I will live my life to the end, To the sound of music, To the freedom of my spirit, To the fire in my soul telling me not to stop, Not to fear, Not to cry, Not to give up even at the gates of hell and all doom and evil. I’m that guy

Eromreven lines in the same stanza should have a similar number of syllables just sayin' Not necessarily... There isn't any rule that says all poems have to have similarity in the syllable number... 3nodding
