Kyra walked right in to the Turpin's home. She was to look out for Johanna today. It seemed she had been a bit on the bad side these days. "Good morning," Kyra bowed as she entered and her jet black hair sweeped her shoulders. "I'm off to work then." Kyra walked up the intricately decorated stairs and into Johanna's room. "Dear? Are you in here?"

Johanna looked at the girl who strolled into her room and smiled, her eyes drifting past her face to the open door. "So the judge let you in then," she stated, setting her knitting aside and standing up, feeling the soft fabric of her sky blue dress brushing against her skin. "Come dear, sit."

Kyra walked inside Johanna's room. It seemed to be growing more gloomy as the days wore on. "How are you my love? You seem to be at a constant fret. Besides that I met the new barber in town. I believe his names was Sweeney Todd. Quite a handsome man, but his eyes were almost like yours. They were filled with sadness that only a hard life could have given them." Kyra sighed pitying Johanna and Mr. Todd.

"I'm fine, thank you dear. Honest, there's nothing to worry about." Johanna attempted a smile, but it got lost somewhere between her brain and her lips. She watched Kyra's eyes flicker, an emotion she'd seen countless of times shadowing her face. Pity. It made her want to cry even more. She smiled again, and this time her lips arched upward faintly. "Sweeney Todd, you say? I've never heard of him. Seems like an interesting fellow, though." She reached over and stroked the other's girl's soft hair.
"Maybe once the Judge lets me out, we could go meet him."

"Just maybe child." She said through gritted teeth. "Oh well Johanna I must depart. You know how angry he gets when I'm in here to long. Next time though I'll bring you something to ease your pain" Kyra got up to leave before glancing on more time in Kyra's direction.

Johanna waved feebly, smiling faintly as the girl walked out of the room. How lucky. She wished she could run free like everyone else. But the judge...
"Come back and visit soon," she called out to the retreating figure. "And have fun visiting Sweeney Todd."

Kyra walked outside feeling the fresh air hit her face. Johanna had looked so sad it had hurt Kyra's heart. She had grown attached to Johanna over the years.
