It was almost an unusual thing for the young corps to be doing what he was right now, in the middle of the day. Which was to say, nothing at all. Normally the hotheaded buck was charging around with his fellow corps, challenging everyone and everything to a fight. He was fairly strong. He enjoyed that fact. Needless to say he also probably trained harder than many of them, and some might call him obsessive, though none did it to his face. Not unless they wanted to face his temper, which took off faster than a rabbit from a fox. He had inherited an interesting mix of traits from his parents. All of his mother's stubborness, with none of her self control, paired with his father's strength and determination to succeed, with none of the good judgement. Not perhaps, the best combination, but it existed, nonetheless.
Fortunately for anyone who happened to cross Cearuil's path, he was in an uncharacteristically good mood today, most likely due to the fact that the weather was warming up. That brightened his outlook considerably, and so today, instead of looking for other corps to challenge, he was relaxing. Which was a big thing, for him.

A grin came across the young femme's maw as she saw the young buck. He was an attractive sort.. But she had no interest of him.. Other than his good looks.
Her little tail flicked, and she batted her eyes. What? Never hurt to use a little practice. She'd need that practice one day.
Her hooves dove into the grassy earth, which the sun was eating the snow away from every minute. She too noticed the change. It was warm.. Warmer than when she'd been born. Her ears flicked, and she cocked her head. She didn't really know of 'Seasons' yet.. She had only experienced a hard winter. But she liked the snow.. But she loved this warm feeling.

A movement to the side caught his peripheral vision, and he turned to get a clearer look at what it was. A cute little fawn, none to old, she must have been from the most recent Anlach. She was looking at him and doing something weird with her eyes. Did she have something stuck in them. He stared curiously a moment before he figured out what she was doing. Batting her eyelashes. Cearuil raised his eyebrow, not sure whether to be annoyed or amused. But, granted it was just a fawn, and she did look pretty cute, in a funny kind of way, he settled on amused. Didn't she think he was perhaps a tad too old for her? Or maybe she was just practising so she could use her technique on calves her own age.
He wouldn't have been really interested at all, but her markings caught his eye. They looked somewhat familiar...though he couldn't quite remember where. Some hind had those kind of leg markings didn't she? Ah yes! One of the other hinds in his father's harem wasn't it? He only remembered because last anlach she had birthed a stillborn, and his own mother was in the same harem. If that was true, this little flirty thing was his half sister. He approached her, somewhat curious now.
"Who's your father?" No bother with pleasantries there, Cearuil wasn't known for them. Probably got that from his mother.

Adalae had no clue as to the lineage of this male. She really didn't care as she wasn't really interested in him, as doing what she felt she was supposed to.. But no bother. She wasn't too concerned. He seemed deep as a puddle anyway..
"Why?"
She asked. Oh, a foal's mind was a dangerous place. In this instant, she was wondering why the hell he was asking such a question.
It somewhat struck her that he was asking for a reason. Maybe there was a relation between them?... Maybe he was her fathers other brood? Oh god. Well she had made a terrible fool out of herself if that was the case.
She shook her head, looking up with brown eyes, the color of vibrant fall leaves.
"My father is Brychan. I assume you know him?" She asked, flicking her tail, and hoping he hadn't noticed her practicing on him..
Oh this was indeed embarrassing.

He had been thinking about a response to her first question. Why was he asking? For that matter, since when had he ever cared which new fawns Brychan had sired? Well, he didn't care for the most part. But he supposed it was good to at least know who most of your siblings were. Even if there was some exponential number of them. But, she answered before he had time to, and it was as he'd expected.
"Hmph." Was all he said as he nodded, seeming satisfied with her answer and his own perceptions. "Yes, I do know him, he is my sire as well. You must be one of the newest additions then."
Yes, her mother must be that striped brown hind, the one that had managed to give birth this year, much to the relief of the hinds. He knew that all of those hinds in Brychan's harem had been afraid she might birth a stillborn again. As a male, he really didn't get the whole motherly thing, and he didn't really want to. After all, he wasn't some girly stag! But in any case, he supposed it was good that this little fawn had come into being. Another one to join the ranks of Brychan's offspring. Briefly, he wondered exactly how many of them there were. A lot. That's how many.
