Greetings, Gaian Geeks! Just a little update from this year's Horsewoman of the LARPocalypse!

Many exciting things are in the works for LARPing at Geek.Kon. Right now we have two LARPing opportunities on the docket with more in the works.

First up is Matrix Tag! Based upon the hit movies, it is a game of tag between two sides; the Agents and the Zionists. But, look out! It's not as simple as that! You can be transformed from a Zionist to an Agent with a single touch from the dastardly Agent Smith or from multiple tags by other Agents. And if you're an Agent, watch your back! You can might be wrested from your cushy conformity by the sneaky teamwork of Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity or even by enough tags by other Zionists! The catch of this whole battle? The rest of the world can't know about it! If they knew, the reality of the Matrix might shatter! So come and play Matrix Tag and help decide the fate of Geek.Kon's little corner of un-reality!

Next up, we have the crew of the HMA Badger from the living alternate history group known as Steam Century! It is the year 1900 and steam-powered airships rule the skies. Based near the Mississippi river, the western boarder of the British colonies in North America, the Badger patrols in the name of Her Majesty Queen Victoria. But when the ship falls victim to sabotage, the crew must find the traitor before it's too late! You can help them in this two-day long, interactive mystery. With interactions with both characters and set, this innovative project is certain to thrill steampunk enthusiasts!

Hopefully, there will be more to come. There are other projects in the works, but as they are not yet confirmed for the convention, we're going to keep it on the low-down for now. I'll be sure to update you as soon as there is news.
