This list is just my own pick of what I would use in this modern battlefield. Whenever in extreme doubt, pick up an AK, cuz it has saved many men's lives. My personal favorites are the M468 SD with Aimpoint and sometimes w/M320, Mk. 48; MP5A3 SD, K-Bar, SR AS50, M40A1, and M1911A1 ICQB SD. This ain't the arms room, just a show room. Now if ya see a weopn you like, talk with the armor, Rae-Rae.

Mk. 14 EBR (Designed to replace the M14, lighter, full auto and more customizable; 7.62mm; 20 round mag)

M468 (Ah, this is my baby, made by Barret; new 6.8mm; same range as an M16/M4, same punch of an AK47; 28 round mag)

Rx4 Storm (Berreta's new rifle; 6.8mm; 28 round mag)

SG 552 Commando (Made by SIG with CQB in mind; 5.56mm; 30 round mag)

AK-47 (Saddens me that I know this is the #1 AR in the world, Russia knew what they were doing; 7.62mm; 30 round mag)

AUG A3 (AKA The Steyr; bullpup; 5.56mm; 30 round mag)

FAMAS (French Foreign Legion's weapon of choice; bullpup; 5.56mm; 30 round mag)

G3KA4 (H&K rifle; 7.62mm; 20 - 30 round ,mag)

M203 (US standard issue; mounted under M16s and M4s; 40mm grenade)

XL7 (mounted under the Rx4 Storm; 40mm grenade)

ZEUS MPAR (The next Anti-Tank weapon; reusable; 84mm HE rocket)

ZEUS T2 (the main difference is the abillity to guide the rocket in, like a TOW launcher; reusable; 84mm HE rocket)

JAVELIN (the new tank killer, comes with a CLU, so you can lock onto tanks and other armor, cuz after all, it's a missle, not a rocket; CLU is reusable but the tubes are not)

AT4 CS (US standard issue, but this one is an upgrade, now you can fire from indoors without your heart stopping, still loud as hell; 84MM HE rocket)

RPG-7 (Our worst nightmare when they start firing these; reusable; 85mm rocket)

MG36 SAW (Larger barrel; 5.56mm; 100 round C drum, aka the "Infinity drum" to civilians, but the military calls 'em "Mickey Mouse Drums")

Mk. 46 (Designed to replace the 249, won't jam or over heat as much as the 249 does; 5.56mm; 100 - 200 round drum; last resort use 30 round mag on side)

Mk. 48 (Like the Mk. 46; 7.62mm; 100 round drum)

M249 SAW (US standard issue Squad Automatic Weapon; 5.56mm; 100 - 200 round drum; 30 round mag on side for last resort or out of drums)

Heads up, just found out about a new automatic weapon.

The Marines IAR (Infantry Automatic Rifle). After one glance, you swear it was an M4A1. But the job of this rifle is dual, it can be used as carbine or a SAW. Because of the open blot feature when firing in full auto, the bolt and chamber won't heat up as fast as the M16/M4s, meaning jams have been reduced. 30 round mags for the rifleman, 100 round "Mickey Mouse" drum for the SAW gunner, same 5.56mm.

Also, it looks like the SR-25 has been officially adopted as the M110. 10th Mountain are some lucky bastards to use it as the SR-25 during OEF. Now they gotta call 'em M110.

hey you forgot the stinger anti-air missle

Ah... I knew I forgot something, but that's only if I happen to find it on the field and I actually need to use it. Hmmm, that sounds familiar... ah yes, the situation accured in COD4. Besides, you can use an RPG-7, AT4 CS or ZEUS to take out enemy copters, but yeah a stinger would work best for "fast movers." And ya think with the JAVELIN, they should've programed it for anti-air purposes for the "just in case" scenario.

PS: Nice to meet you GEN Ikari

The Javelin can do anti-air, just not very well. If you sneak up on a hover helicopter, it could take it down. Only in straight fire, of course.

yeah, but do that as a last resort, if you do that, use a LAW, AT4, M203 with the new "Hellhound" round, or pick up an enemy RPG to take down a heli... remember, JAVELINs cost a lot more than those other weapons...
