The pair eventually neared a building which was crammed between two others on the tight street. The two level building appeared to be made of decaying wood and crumbling stone, yet appeared to be sturdy enough. There were few windows, all barred, all small, all grimy. The man quickly neared his door, breaking his monk like gait as he crammed a key into the door opening. As the door open, the sign above the door rattled form a gust of wind. It read, 'The Bow and Arrow' and had a picture of an arrow engraved onto the sign.

"Well this is my humble home." The man muttered, opening the door to the woman who had been following. "Now hurry up and come in before some little street tear decides to take the very cloths off your back.

The interior of the shop was dark, and had an odd scent of animal musk and wood. There were a variety of baskets on the floor, holding a variety of arrows and quivers, as well as hooks on nearly all of the walls, holding bows. In the back of the room there was a simple counter, and a chair. Behind it was a set of stairs leading upward, and hidden behind the counter was also a trap door to Korbin's basement where he kept his...special wears.

Coren glared at him a moment "I dont think they will wearing your smelling cloak i look like the rest of you sept my hairs better kept." Finally inside she took a breath that she was only now aware she was holding.

Humble was right, she looked at the walls just picturing termites and rats all over them. Wasnt to hard to picture. "Well at least now were outta sight." With out asking if it was ok she took the cloak off and held it out to him, "thank you for allowing me to use your ummmm cloths." She wasnt sure if cloths was the right word it was only animal skins.

Finally with another deep breath she looked around takeing a moment for her eyes to adjust to the dim light of the room.

"Ok so, Where am I?"

"My home and shop, which happens to be in the city of Loghedge. You know...a typical fortified city, complete with the castle and the spires of the masonry buildings." Ezekiel said simply. "Now as far as the cloak is concerned, It isn't much, after all its not worn to keep up appearances, just to keep out the cold as I test my arrows. But, I'm sure that Ill be able to find something for you, though sadly it will be made of smelly animal hide. Your have to take your coin to a tailor if you want to look noble." The man rolled his eyes at this. "Then again, I doubt you have any coins, let alone a home here. Tell me about where your from, and how you got here. If you haven't realized this yet woman, you are obviously not from this land." Yet his eyes slowly gravitated to the odd items she had, her cloths, the bulges from her pockets, other items...things that were worth money to the right buyer. Time to cut to the chase, after all, he had better things to do today. "Of course...I may be able to help you get assimilated into our culture for a price..." He smiled. "And don't worry, nothing involving your body, rather I'm sure you have some items you can part with for some coin, yes? A bit of shine can do wonders."

Corens mouth fell open as he rambled on. She didnt think what she had on her was gonna get her into cloths like royality tho she wasnt sure if she wanted that much. She went over what people used for money way back in old times, but this world she couldnt have gone back in the past, could she?

"Ok first off, Stop calling me woman I do have a name. Not going around calling you ho bo, or bum am I?" She paused looking around his shop, "Second off i happen to like my cloths thank you havent you ever heard of camo makes hunting so much easyer."

"And finally, how do I know you wont umm... what did they do back then, slit my throat or something?" Sticking her hand in her pockets she felt around, few cents, some bills, a chain to who knows what. Bunch more lose trinkets that were lieing around for her to get ahold of easyly.

"Fine." Korbin said. "Coren...was it?" And although it was a question, he dident even treat it as one. "But your cloths are not fit for a woman of this..." He blinked, she had said 'back then' was she from another time? "Time. And if I were to kill you and take your items for myself, couldn't I have just put an arrow between your eyes?" Although, as their time together dragged on it seemed like a better and better idea. "Ill be blunt Child, you stand out. And that...is something that will attracted allot of unwanted attention, perhaps from people who will slit your throat. But, if you don't want my help, the door is behind you." He smirked, waiting. Of course if she didn't accept well, then he knew a friend in the clergy who may give abit of coin to meet a traveler from another time. After all...that was witchcraft, wasn't it?

"fine, well...." He did have a point with the whole arrows between the eyes, but maybe what she said was bit much. That look he gave wasnt one she wanted to find out about. was one that she could have seen her self giving over something so great as a gem of some kind.

"I GOT IT!" she smiled at him, that was it she had smacked her head and was in some dream infested world of her mind. "This isnt real its all some trick of the mind, cause sure as hell i cant be some other place then where i was i mean how the hell did i get here and why. Last I remember is i hit him head, must have hit it harder then i thought. Give it a bit ill wake up in a hosipital room back in bonneylake." But for the moment she was ok with playing along i mean this was a trick of her mind, it all was bound to work out then. Of course why she was dreaming up this guy she wasnt sure, didnt have a idea of why.

"im still not changeing my cloths." With that she sat down on a near by chair even tho didnt look like it could hold. And stared at him, "you made it seem like theres been others like me, what do you mean by that?"

Oh this woman was annoying. Assuming that he could be a figment of HER feeble mind? Bah, not a chance of that. "If its a dream then...shouldn't you know what I meant?" The man said, smirking slightlly. "And if its a dream, cant you control whats going on? After all it is written that once one realizes they are in a dream that they can control what happens in th dream..." Slowly the man reached into his own cloak and pulled out a dagger, perhaps used for skinning animals. "And if its a dream, you cant get hurt, can you? Now, lets get all of this idiocy out of the way and see what is going on. Please, hold out your hand. I will p***k it. If theres pain, this is your new reality and you should accept it and put on something more fitting. If you don't feel any pain, well then, Ill wear a dress, do we have an agreement? " Hopefully the little wrench would fall for it...or at least stop acting like a complete incompetent moron. After all, they could trace her back to him...and that meant there was a chance his other business could be discovered...

And that wouldn't do at all.

Corens eyes flicked to the dagger then to him, this suddenly didnt look very fun but she decided that it was best to limit the chances and prove either it was real or it wasnt. "Fine but, just a p***k." Holding out her hand she looked at him and smiled. "But the cloths still stay ill wear a cloak or what ever it was you gave me but i will not change thank you." and the odds of his cloths or anything he could find fitting her were slim if not none. Walking around in to big cloths sounded like it would make her stand out more then she already did.

"Fine, do you want the old nasty one I gave you, or would you rather one made of better hide?" The man asked before grabbing her wrist. "I don't want you flinching and cutting off a finger." Then, aptly the man pressed the knife down into the palm of her hand before pulling it out a few seconds later. It left a small wound, which was slowlly starting to bleed. He smiled down at his work before looking up at Coren. "So do you still think this is some sort of twisted nightmare then?"

She still tryed to flinch as the sharp point of the blade dug into the palm of her hand. After he was done he seemed to have enjoyed his work a bit, looking up at him she laughed. "Bet you wanted to do that didnt you?" She glanced at the wound on her hand that was bleeding more and more by the minute. "Well, if its not a dream what is it?" Running her not bloody hand through her hair she looked around. She wasnt sure what to do anymore what to think.

Sighing she looked at him, "your cloak was fine but if you rather not part with it, then something else works to." licking her lips she looked around more "well F***." This all wasnt good, at least she now knew she wasnt crazy and loseing her mind, even tho that still wasnt fully outta her mind.

"What in the gods names dose ******** mean?!" Korbin asked yet again, anger detected in his voice. "You use so many words that I do not know, or understand in the manner of how you use them. But..." He calmed himself. "This is your reality. Ive heard rumors of people coming here from another time, maybe thats you. Maybe not. But no one has managed to go back yet, so I suggest you get used to your new life here." Of course he didn't add in the bit about them turning into monsters...after all to imagine this woman twisting into some sort of harpy...

Well okay, that wasn't too far off, but he would be killed perhaps, or at least punished for his attitude.

"Now give me a minuet to get you a decent cloak." The old man muttered. "And then we can discuss how much gold your be earning with whatever you want to pawn off to me." The man the quickly left her, turning and then heading up the stairs behind the counter.

A more fitting cloak worryed her a bit. But nothing was like it used to be.....

Well so far it hadnt gone bad i mean it could have been worst right? She watched him head off up the stairs and looked around more closely. She didnt think anything she had on her was really worth much but then again how much was alot back then, or i guess she was to start saying right now..... Her hand found its way to the dragonfly around her neck and she fiddled with it in her fingers for a few moments.

Then this rumors about others was it true and there were others here now to? And did she even care to go back? she was a criminal there, nothing more then a theif but these days it become so hard. She was unaware that she was paceing the floor looking out a window she watched a few go by not even looking in the general direction.

After a few moments Ezekiel returned from his upper quarters with a rather stunning cloak made of tanned hide. It was a light brown, almost resembling tanned deer hide. It seemed to even have a few simple fur designs on the exterior, and on the interior, was actually lined with a thick fur. "I do abit of tanning on the side, sell the creations to the various noble shops around. Its not hard, just a matter of matching, and adding a few things to make it appealing to the eye. Yet...this cloak is worth abit, and I really hope you have something worth of trade...and a few other things worth some coins to get you started. Also, Ill throw in a location of an inn for free, to repay you fro the nasty p***k I gave you. Then again, without that, your mind would not have awakened from the lie you were putting yourself in." Korbin then offerd her the cloak. "Here." It was, by far the best one he had ever made. Hopefully, the garb would entice the woman to share with him some special things he could sell to a few collectors.

Her jaw droped again as he climbed down the stairs carring the cloak it was stuning wasnt nothing like new age fur coats and stuff back home. But she was never into all that. Now she really hoped those few things on her were worth more then she figured.

"Inns cost money and well sadly im new here." She was depressed of course she was depressed everything she knew everything she learned was nothing now she had to figure out the now and here. But she would still have loved her own bed, even getting up for work didnt seem all that bad.

Looking down she pulled the watch off her wrist and droped it to the near by table and reached into her pockets pulling everything out. A silver watch, about 7 dollars and 59 cents. A small gold chain, to what she still couldnt remember. A few necklaces, not of the best of quality but still appealing enough. It surely didnt seem like much and if you added up the pricetags it wasnt.

"I know its not much but its not like, they said hey you your going back in time. Or a new location or what ever it is im in." She had smacked her head, she knew that, those lights in her dream must not have been a dream after all. Then she woke up here, lost and confused.

"I have a nack for getting things though. If that might be of some use for you im willing to work if i have to." She didnt know what more to offer..............

"Hmmmmm..." Korbin reached down and took the watch with a smile. Yes, this was clockwork...and to the right person be wroth allot. It diden't seem to work, yet...well, some idiot would pay more then enough for it, that was for sure. The other things...well they were exotic that was for sure, and he would find a buyer eventually. Greedily he took all of the items with a smile, then stopped upon her offer for work. She was like the others who had items of value...perhaps she could make them apart with them easier then he could. "Yes...I think that you would be perfect for a job...perhaps you could talk with the others of your own kind and get more of these things for me..." He held up the watch. "After all, there are many who will pay quite abit of gold for such...trivial things. I will of course pay you enough for you, and perhaps a few of your friends to live off of." Of course, he didn't say how well. "Dose that sound fair enough to you?" Ah yes...this was why he didn't kill her.
