OK... Inspired by Shale's Rant Thread and boredom. Basically, I'm too lazy to post in my journal, but I need somewhere to ramble. So yay me. I figure enough people are mentally referring to me as Meryl, I might as well do it too.

So I just realised Shale might hate me for making a new topic, with whatevers going on... Anyway, today in Chorus, we ran through our concert (which is Thursday *squeal*), then sightread. To those of you unfortunate enough to not be in Chorus, our not have my teachers, that is where they hand out music (that we generally know) and we sing through them. So we went through Walt Witman's "Oh Captian! My Captian!" put to music, it was cool, lots of references to Abe Lincoln lying dead (and all the boys had to snicker every. time.). Then we did a medley of songs from Hunchback of Notre Dame (the Disney version, children). I love that movie. It is a random thing with me I can't explain. THe medley was 48 pages long. Yeah. We got halfway through it (right at the end of "Heaven's Light"), when the bell rang. I have one word: awesomeness.

Good night. It's weird, I've stayed up later. WAY later. And my juices are flowing, not very tired-like at all. But still, I think I'm turning in. Unless somebody posts something really cool in one of the RPs.

Yay me I managed to find this after all of the shuffling! *dances* My chorus concert is tomorrow and I have yet to try on my new clothes... Oh well, I'll get to it. What can I ramble about...? Ooo! OK, I'm writing a story, and my format for it is entrys in a journal. But it's compiled of 5 journals, each teenagers with very different views of life. If you know anyting about my brain, you'll already know it's in a different world... With weapons and magic... And epic battles... And some romance... I'm a teenage, fantasy-obsessed girl writing a book, what'd you expect??? But anywhoo, I've been screwing around with different fonts for each person. It's oddly fun... It helps me get into character. xd I'll stop now.

So today was Chorus mass rehearsal. And of course half my class had to goof off, talk, not listen, and be all "I'm the best person in the world"-ish. DURING practice. Can you say ANNOYING??? It's a pet peeve. Personally, I cannot WAIT for my grade to go to the high schol. We have some overcrowding issue, so we're still stuck with the 8th graders (but thankfully no one else). So my grade has yet to experiance being shoved out of the way, made to prove bragging, and actual hard classes. I go to le lycee (yay French) for a class, so I have some idea how funny it's going to be next year. Like when people stop in the MIDDLE of the hallway to talk. BAM. It's sadistic, but I will enjoy every second of it. My grade (except for the people with a brain) bothers me, if ya can't tell. Seriously. I've vented now... It feels much better. Not to mention I had French Club (at which we do nothing very french), so I got to listen to blow-by-blow predictions of what'll happen, curtosy of some sophomores. Gabbi-kins is my hero. For those of you that have gotten bored of my frequent Chorus references, the concert is over tonight, so I'll stop soon. Also: go on YouTube and look up "Baba Yetu". Watch the Lion King version, it has pictures. We're singing that, only not as awesomely as the video.

So I have a lack of sleep to Chorus concert at 8 PM, math test (I'm actualy good at math, but all tests are evil), and life in general. My little sister is home sick today, so I don't know if my cold is going to get worse... And one of my friends is going to Florida. For two weeks. NOT FAIR! Even though she has SO much make up work... But it's getting nicer here, too. As in above freezing temperature, that isn't supposed to stay... I love how all of the stores are seeling shorts and tank tops though. It's like, "...Wow." I realised today I have a lot of pet peeves about stupid behavior. Today during PE, we played dodgeball. Like the kind where they throw the balls out and let us run wild. I was half laughing my butt off at two of my friends panicing, half trying to give them advice. (Such as, watch out for the kamikaze boys) Ashley looked at me and asked me if it was hard being smart. I thought about that and shrugged. Then we both got hit. Yep. Smart. So now my dad is home with my sister and watching some WEIRD shows/movies and kicking us all out of the main floor in general. Parental love at it's finest. So now I have nothing to blab about... Mwaha. I just changed the "post style", so you're all looking at my words in a squishy thought bubble.

YES!!! I have been promoted, I have been promoted, I have been promoted... If you don't see where that little song is going, I pity you. Yes, I am now a member of the crew! Gah I need an emote with a thumbs up... Just imagine me giving a thumbs up then. I do that a lot. sweatdrop Anyways... Today my Aunt Doris, Uncle Bill, Aunt Rita and Uncle George are coming to visit. My mom's sisters and their husbands. I don't really mind, but we all get kicked out of our rooms and such, not fun. Well, only my little sister, because Rita and George are staying with their daughter, and Squirt's the one with the queen-sized bed. Except she has to sleep on my roll-away. *sigh* They're coming for my parents "wine party" (???). And we're going skiing, then I have to babysit. My siblings AND neighbor children. Because their parents are, you guessed it, at the party. So yes, that's my day today. Wish me luck. Random observation: White actually does NOT match bright orange. At least not very well.

OK... Skiing went well, it is REALLY fun, go try it. Baysitting was less fun... 3 and a half hours... While my relatives were tasting wine. Yeah. They're still down there, talking about nothing! I do not understand. I'm pretty tired, so there is going to be a major lack of focus in this entry...

Hmm... So today I seriously did not want to wake up. I'm fine now, but I really need to get more sleep tonight... I have little to report other than never watch stupid cartoons then try to think. My little brother is watching STUPID gone cartoon. Anyway, that's it for now.

OK... I just realised I haven't posted since Sunday, I'm properly ashamed... Anyway, we are singing The Hunchback of Notre Dame in chorus, so yay us. We're also singing this really cool song called "The Sonnet of the Moon", I need to post the lyrics, it's really cool... Anyway, tennis is starting! Yay! I really stink, but whatever... So... whats-his-face... Gah the person known as Ventro in Chaos Rising, ANYWAY, he mentioned a new RP, so my usual imagination started coming up with a new character. I think I will continue to be called Meryl, and probably still be Beorc (assuming it's about FE 9-10...). I want to incoperate music more, so I might be a gypsy or something... mwahahahaha...

Sigh... I'm home sick. Yeah, not good sick where you don't feel it, but throw up at random points/stomach always feels WEIRD-sick. So yeah. The older of my younger brothers is here with me too. We both woke up at some point last night, and puked. I have thrown up once more, Phil seems perfectly healthy... scream We have Direct TV, and I gotta tell ya, there is NOTHING on. NOTHING. Example: I'm watching Disney Channel right now. Me. Disney. It's a sign of the Apocolypse.

OK... My ramblings about how stupid the flu is. I have not been SICK sick or two years, so this is really bugging me. I stand up, and my head hurts. This morning (thankfully it's over), I was scared to eat, because my stomach was freaking out. Seriously, I was only feeling lucky that I could tell when I would puke (again thankfully only happened twice), so I didn't spill. Unlike Phil-chan, who got it on his bed... Shudder... I have massive issues with picking up puke, cleaning out my bucket made me nausis, I can't imagine cleaning off sheets the way Dad made Phil... Anyway, I'm going to bed now.

So today I'm going shopping for tennis stuff and a present for my friend's birthday. Then I'm going o her party, which goes until 11. Compared to some other days I've had, it's pretty busy. I won't be on for a while, am then I shall rant to you about shopping and parties. I can tell you right now I will feel much happier about the party.

OK... SPRING BREAK!!!!!!!!! YES!!! *dances* Anywhoo, was at the crew/VC/Captian meeting and then a TON of people showed up!! TONS!! And they were all like, 'whats ur name? In real life' or 'if you want a girfriend, come over here.' I don't really like large, mindless crowds, and this one REALLY freaked me out. Yes, I am a bit of a nerd. Deal with it. OK... Oh, I never rambled about parties... 'Juno' is an awesome movie, go see it! We pretty much hung out and talked, nothing special, sorry. Shopping wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, since it wasn't for dresses or anything. That's about all for now. Swear on my honor to post soon. Meryl out.
