Whoooo! Warhammer! My Space Marine army has just reached roughly 5k points. Hopfully in the next four months or so, I should have saved up enough money to purchas a warhound scout titan!

We had Warhammer 40k at the con, but when people found out they had to bring their own armies, our turn out was a bit low. Should we offer small army combat for this year? Reduce it to a demo? Have more tutorials/workshops/panels? I don't know if anyone here plays it cons much. I was just wondering what we could do to bring in more people interested in Warhammer (and other miniature enthusiasts).

It's just an Idea but if you get two people with really sweet armies to do something like a 2k point match on a really good looking terrain set it might attract some people.

Hello WH40K fans! I'm Sergeant Fenris, here to inform and serve. If any one has any questions about WH40K Canon and backstories, feel free to ask. Questions about modeling and painting should be redirected at someone who is a real master at it (not me) sweatdrop

OK, I have a question. I was looking through my codex the other day and was wondering if I could give a space marine librarian's familiar terminator honors. I mean it doesn't say you can't and it's technically part of a command squad.

Um, I'm not quite sure... My expertise is in backstory, novels, and other random bits of Canon and trivia sweatdrop .
However, I will search for an answer to this through my contacts on one of the WH40K guilds. Sorry I couldn't be any more helpful.

The figures of WarHammer 404K...huh...no i don't and I never seen one in real life...I did seen ONCE a WarHammer order guide FULL of like nothing but elder like 5 years ago. I enjoy playing the orcs and a Tao they just rock. Oh...and the Necron. How do I know all this? Well...board game wise I never played but...I have played all three current WarHammer 40,000 Dawn Of War PC game. For a RTS game it's solid and fun to play. That I can play...I got nothing for a board match though...not a thing.

DoW is a really good spin-off on the WH40K franchise, I gotta admit. My favorite race in DoW is definitely Space Marines. They've got the right mix of firepower, endurance, and mobility. My two least favorites are the Eldar and the Necrons. The Eldar are too weak, both in firepower and HP, and the Necrons are too slow, albiet durable as hell.

I agree with the Eldar. They are too "Good ONLY aginst this" person...and building wise I dislike the fact you need to like build a gem for each kind of warrior first THEN you can build the warrior...seems unfair since basicly no other race has that.
