.:Roleplay Rules and Guidelines:.

To help keep the roleplay orderly and less confusing, we need a few rules. Failure to follow the rules will result in wanring or possible blacklisting.

Rules
1. No god-moding/power-playing. Period.
2. Only use cursing if necessary. We don't want to see cursing every other word.
3. No one-liners. Try to put a little depth into your responses.
4. Don't have your hatchling out looking for love. Their to young.
5. If you see someone trying to join in,don't leave them out. Give everyone a chance to join in.
6. Dragons can understand their bondeds and vise versa.
7. Do not roleplay abilities that your dragon does not have. Please read the species information thread for abilities.
8. When RPing over a messenger please get permission from all parties before posting the log.
9. Cosplay Dragons are not the same as characters they are cosplaying. Though they my be similar in appearance/personality/temperament, but their background must fit the realm if you were to choose to make a history up for them.
10. When RPing your dragon, please try and remember to use a color.
Please be kind to others.

.:Guidelines:.

[IC] - Means in character. You may only RP in character of your dragon.
[PRP] - means 'private role play'. In a private RP only those invited may join in. If your not invited do not post.
[ORP] - Means 'open role play'. In an open RP everyone is invited to come in.

.:Tips:.

(Brought to you by Aldessa)

1. RPs tend to work better when someone in the group has more than a starting place in mind. ie, if there is a story or some sort of goal inherent in the setup. This gives the participants something to work towards.
2. As important as having a goal is, remember to be flexible. If the game is going in a different direction, it might be good to consider that maybe it's better that way.
3. The important elements of a story are character development, story, and above all FUN. Sometimes you will focus more on one element above others, but there should always be some fun there.
4. Silly RPs are not inherently bad. Especially if the characters are a bit odd. Then again, serious or even sad RPs are not bad either.
5. Being silly or too serious at inappropriate times, however, is bad, and tends to ruin the fun for others.
