Episode #10 to be specific...
Aren't creations of a Japanese Defense Force supposed to inherently job? The role of any Defense Force in a battle against a kaiju is to 1.) cause needless property damage, 2.) shoot the hero or heroes instead of the enemy, 3.) force the hero or heroes to save them at great risk, 4.) piss off the monster further with flashy and useless attacks, and/or 5.) actually make the monster stronger with some crazy weapon.
This particular group managed to target the right thing at the start, briefly had a problem when their spider missiles wouldn't function, but ended up nuking the monster of the week with Strike Vanisher while Ultraman was getting schooled.
A nice change of pace though. wink

Nexus's story is pretty dark.
Well.... next week's episode (Ep 24) might be a sad one.
Guess I shouldn't post any further, no spoiler.
