I want to know how everyone on this forum feels about camping.
You can Flame or Respect campers all you want.
But, I ask for one thing, don't criticize other people's opinions.
I, for one, think that camping helps keep control of the stronger weapons, and high combat areas, under control. Therefore letting the team who has that site, control the game better.
Another thing, is that it shows better teamwork to maintain A certain weapon in a scenario.
Some might say that it is unskillful, and most annoying, but if your as good as you say you are, then campers shouldn't be a problem.

Campers really infuriate me and a friend of mine when we play team doubles. Camping on this game type is two easy and requires no skill at all to win. Where as if you try to camp in BTB or Team Slayer it becomes harder, because 4-8 people can just spam upwards of 16 grenades into an area and the campers are than screwed.
Camping with weapons like the Rocket Launcher and the Shotgun is p***y, Camping with the sniper is still bad even though it requires skill because your friends are usually protecting you with either battle rifles or a shotgun.
Camping is kind of unfair but i do see where it can come in handy. But the maps i hate the most for camping are Epitaph and Snowbound these are the worst and need the shotgun removed from or at least put the maulers back on Epitaph and move the shotgun to an above ground area on Snowbound.

Yes, but eventually, Campers will become an easy kill.
And it does teach teamwork and tactics.
It depends on the way their using camping. I mean, some little noobs, who you describe that " Have no skill at all", really have no skill. I agree with you.
But there are some people who use camping for tactics, so they can benifit the rest of the team, and win the game. If your playing those kind of people, then you better have awesome tactics, AND teamwork to counter them. otherwise...your screwed. Chances are, their teammates are waiting for you to perform some sort of counter attack, and they are prepared.
It depends all on the luck of the draw.

i seriously dislike camping except in Lone Wolves but anywhere else i hate it. and you are right in team doubles camping is too easy.Camping is also stupid.for example on the pit.most people camp in sword room and bring what? maybe a sniper rifle,rockets, shotgun and sword. ok thats kinda scary.but the bad thing about that is there are no good weapons spawns in sword room. so what me and my partner usually do is just wait till the power weapons come back and we raid that room. and since most campers suck and don't know how to use weapons the right way we usually win. and for snowbound my strategy against campers there is me and my buddy grab a couple of brs or w/e. go down to where the shotgun is. and usually we get a kill their. take the shotty.grab a couple of stickies.stick the ghost(i hate ghosts). and since we are winning just wait for them to come out.the only thing that most campers now how to do is camping. so if you force them out of their comfort zone you've won for sure.and the only time that i will ever choose to camp is: when we are raping and just ******** around or when the score is tied.and of course in Lone Wolves.

and also.most people lose against campers because they get all pissy and just keep relentlessy atacking campers without even thinking of a strategy to beat them.that too me is the major reason why campers win.

Camping doesn't really tick me off as much. Especially if you have a tactic on using their camping skills against them. A power weapon would be a useful weapon to bring into a camper's area, but another useful one would be a camouflage. Plus it's going to be easy if they keep camping on the same exact spot because you'll know (most likely) many ways to get in.

people should never really hate campers.there are no rules on how you should play halo so you should only blame yourself if you lose to campers.camping is just another strategy.its not noobish.most people say it is because they don't know how to beat it. if a team is camping in a room somewhere with a whole bunch of power weapons then don't run in there like some retard.if your winning than just sit outside and wait for the time to go out or whatever.also you could just wait till the power weapons and power ups to just respawn so you and the camper are easily matched.im seriously getting tired of people complaining about campers.bitching is only going to make things worse.

I can't camp at all. Something about going to the same spot and just camping there just screams predictable all over it. I don't really like campers because it doesn't take any skill to camp. Usually camping involves a shotgun. Another reason I can't camp. I suck with the shotgun. I'm a sniper/BR kinda person.

Theres actually a very easy to make campers go out of there hiding spots most of the time. You can camp, send them taunting messages (like HLG) and wait for them. Or you can go guns-a-blazin and pray for the best

Personally I could care less about campers.
When they kill you you immediately know where they are and can kill them with little to no effort at all.

I don't camp. SOme people say I do, but I don't. I will usually sit in one spot, kill a couple of people, then move on, knowing they know where I am, and they aint gonna be so easy to kill next time. Killing campers to me, is too easy. On the Pit, if they are camping in the sword room, I just make use of those little vents that lead into the room and throw a couple nades in there. I've gotten so many kills that way. But anyway, most campers just sit in one spot, and don't move. They don't realize this makes them easier to kill. Ya they might get a kill, but their death after that is assured, especially the ones that go back.
I adapt, like a raptor. I can't be killed by the same camper in one match twice.

only stupid people lose to campers. campers are very easy to beat as long as you keep your cool and think about what your doing. rushing into a room of campers with your guns blazing is really stupid. don't do it. camping is so popular just because there are retarded people out there(i used to be one of em) that just run into a room knowing that the other guy has some kind of power weapon and is just waiting around the corner. and it might sound really unbelievable that someone might be stupid enough to do that but it happens time and time again.
