I... maybe have a problem. I walked into Michael's today and they had new yarn (well, since the last time I was there). My bill came up to...
redface
124$.
(To be fair, this paycheck was my 'all the bills are paid, treat yourself to something nice' paycheck, so I was planning on spending the money anyway.)
What's the most you've spent on yarn in one day? Why? What was the yarn?
(I got some Patons Rumor, some Tweedle Dee, some... heck I don't even know what I got. What am I planning for the rest of my evening? Why, taking photos of my stash, of course. xd )

Since I am in my last year of high school and do not have a job, my funds and space to store yarn is extremely limited. I can maybe buy a skien or two or yarn every two weeks. crying The most I have ever spent was probably $15 at a time. I would spend more if I had it though!!

Yeah, I'm pretty lucky to have a good job where I make enough that I can treat myself a little bit once in a while. Though usually I look for clearances and sales and stuff... Michaels is good for that, they have a lot of % off coupons all the time... And a lot of what I got was clearance (if clearance price for a skein of Rumor is 5$, what's the regular price...???)

I am a stay at home mom so my funds are limited as well but I was lucky enough to get several JoAnn gift cards last Christmas (and more for my birthday next month I hope!) so I usually spend about $50 when I go to the store. Most of that is on yarn but I HAVE to check out the fabric remnants bin every time I go and I get lots of cool little bits of fabric for about a dollar each. And sometimes I buy a new hook or some ami eyes.

I tend to be a yarn snob. The most I've spent on a single project was $160 on the yarn alone.

$74 for an afghan that was monstrously big. But I'm in college so time/space/and money for my knitting and crochet addictions is limited. crying I usually don't spend more than $20 at a go.

I've been on a "kitchen cotton" kick for a while (makes great kid friendly amigurumi), so that's been what I've bought a lot of lately.
Hard to feel bad about a limited yarn budget when your yarn of choice is under $2 a skein without a sale lol.
