Hallo! Its been awhile. You may be wondering where I have been all this time, considering I am supposed to be a Mod of our wonderful planty guild. Well, being the sass that I can assure you I am, I will say that I am just as lazy as everyone else! blaugh While some of you are working hard at school every day, I am working at one of those dreadful things called jobs. But I realized that my job might be of some interest to the general population of this guild. What do I do at this job? This:

"What is that," you might say. But I think you know the answer. A water lily. Yes, that's right. I spend all day floating upon glistening water, sporting beautiful purple petals. stare (I hope you didn't really believe that!) Nope, that isn't true at all, I am not a water lily.(Please don't cry, I know its disappointing...) But I get to play with such watery plants all day long. I mean, I get to separate and pot them all day long. Cattails, corkscrew rushes, pickerels, cannas, taros, Siberian pink cups, and many more. The baby plants float around in foam trays until they grow large enough to sell or ship to their new pond homes.
Where am I going with this silly story? Well, aquatic plants are COOL! And darn it, I think we should talk about them. Perhaps you think so too? Maybe hydroponics is interesting to you? Maybe even the thought of standing around in stagnant pond water (that smells like manure) is exciting to you?

If any of these things are true then lets start talkin' about it! And if you desire to gaze at some aquatic plants, I can suggest looking here at my work's website: http://www.watergarden.com/
Nope, this is not a plug for you to buy something (heck, I don't get paid more if things sell! blaugh )(there's more for me that way anyway!)
