It was a nice outside. A few white puffy clouds could be seen in the bright blue sky. The temperature was a bit cool, but it wasn't something that a jacket couldn't fix.

Prince Peasley was still not used to walking. His tiny steps were uneven and he stumbled often. Despite that, he was feeling simply fabulous. His hair was perfect and that really was all that mattered to him. He gave it a flip and it shone brightly.

Not too far away, a couple of birds saw the shine of the bean prince's hair. Their instinct took over them and they flew to the doll, wanting to take his hair and put it in their nests where they kept the rest of their shiny things.

The birds pecked at him and tried lifting him up by the hair. He couldn't speak yet, so the only thing he could do is flail around and hope that he'd be able to chase the birds away. Unfortunately they didn't look like they were going to stop until they got what they wanted...

(Heh heh, alright. But I doubt anything would happen upon their first meeting)

After a second person joined in an attempt to shoo them away, the birds reluctantly left Peasley alone.

When the birds left Peasley started to run his hands through his hair and picked out any feathers he found. He was pretty sure that his hair was all messed up and tangled now, but he wouldn't have it look like a bird's nest!

All the while he was looking at Luigi. He bowed, to show his gratitude and then fished around in his pockets (which came out of hammerspace) and pulled out a yellow rose, autographed of course. He held it out to the other. Of course the Prince was convinced that he could've shooed off the birds himself, but he needed to be polite.

Peasley smiled and flipped his hair. He thought that the shine would be enough for Luigi to tell who he was because everyone had to know who Prince Peasley was! However, just in case, he pointed to the autographed rose which had his name in perfect handwriting on the stem.

Peasley just nodded and looked Luigi over. He decided! Luigi would be his escort for the day. After all, the guy was much taller than he was, he'd be able to protect him from danger if he came across any, or at least help him shoo the birds again if they decide to return. So he grabbed the other's arm and started to walk along the path. He continued to stumble a bit, but was able to regain his posture quickly now that he had his 'escort' to hold on to.

Peasley stopped and looked at him, slightly glaring. He could walk perfectly fine, he didn't need anyone to help him. After all, he could do anything. He was the prince! The bean prince let go of Luigi's arm and started to walk ahead. He tripped and fell flat on his face. The blond got himself up and he limped a little back to Luigi and gave a swift nod in response to the other's question.

Luigi smiled seeing that he needed help. "Okay now..." he took Peasly's hands and guided him, keeping an eye on his legs in case he stumbled.

Luigi noticed Wario and ignored his comment until he pushed peasley. "Hey! Be nice!" He said while kneeling next to Peasely.

"BWA HAHAHAHA!!" Wario laughed and pointed at Peasley and his pain. He looked down at Luigi beside Peasley. After wiping the tears from laughter out of his eye, he dunked Luigi's head into the mud. He released Luigi's head after a few seconds, and backed way. He wanted to get a full view of his "masterpiece".

Mona had finally caught up to Wario and had a big grin. She looked down at Luigi and Peasley in the mud, then at Wario, and then at the two again. She tugged on Wario's short sleeve and pointed with a smile, as if she was asking what had happened.

"Admiring my work, huh?" Wario asked laughing a bit, "At least you gots good taste...." Mona smiled blankly at him, she had no idea what he was saying. "Don't they look like a couple of stupid piggies, huh, Mona?"

Mona understood the "piggy" part and knew what piggies do. She crawled into the mud with Luigi and Peasley. She made little snorting sounds, splashed, and rolled. Wario stood admiring her cuteness for a second, then began to scold her. "Get outta there!" he cried with his fists pounding the air, "You look very silly!!"

Peasley hid behind Luigi after he was helped up. He didn't want anyone to look at him. He tried to mud off his face (along with the tears) but all it did was smudge the dirt. Frustrated, he picked up a rock and threw it at the guy who did this to him, peeking out from behind the green plumber.
