it's really difficult ><
und meine schule hat kein deutschklasse! hat nur franzoesisch[?] und ..uhh..espan~ol[?] sweatdrop
[ist das richtig? you can correct it if you want, that would be helpful ^^]
my dad knows how to speak it, since my grandparents are from austria, but..he doesn't have a lot of time to teach me..
but i really want to learn it!!
has anyone else here learned it on their own, without any classes? if so, how do you do it?
i know a lot of the vocabulary, it's my grammar that's really bad. i've tried learning it, but i don't understand what Genitive and Passive and all those mean..

Hey i am tryin to learn on my own. But i have only just started really so i dont think i will be much help unless you wanted to ask.. like what the man was eating and stuff like that xp

because my school doesn't do really much for me, i'm not taking it at school next year.
I'm okay for grammar it's just my vocabulary, i forget all the words.

I've been fortunate enough to be able to have instruction available for German. I have tried to teach myself foreign languages though, and found it quite difficult and slow. You've got my sympathies.
If you still need help with German, feel free to PM me. I can explain "what Genitive and Passive and all those mean."

Hey ppl. im trying to learn german by my self but it somewat hard!! but im determined to learn. it sucks cuz in the school i go to they are not offering german due t woto the buget cuts. it would be great if someone would would help me learn with pronounciation. so far i only know very little like small words like i say good morning and the like. i also know spanish if anyone wants to learn that

i started about 3 years ago when i first heard tokio hotel (lol) and so i would get german books and just do self taught and stuff...but then i got to 9th grade and they offered it so i'm taking that as well as doing outside studying. www.livemocha.com is a great website to learn. it's almost like rosetta stone, but free!

I've run out of German classes at my school, so I'll probably be learning on my own until I transfer... Not a happy place to be. Fortunately, I've made a lot of progress, so if I can just maintain what I have now, I'll be okay...

I also use livemocha.com, if you have one would you like to add each other so we could help each other review submissions and the like?
I just started learning it alone and I agree, the voabulary isn't that hard, it's just the grammar that's killing me. (They don't offer it in my school! argh!)
