granted, i didn't make a skirt or anything but...
I finished my first piece of embroidery!! in fact i did two with one thread! i did the kanji symbol for fire (which looks pretty wonky... ^.^) and a freestyle smily face (which looks reallly wonky!)
I was just trying to get a feel for the movement though, so i wasn't trying too hard. But this is so much more satisfying than trying to crochet an afghan sweatdrop it's so big and overpowering, and it's just a pattern not a picture >.< anywho....
when i get around to taking a pic, i'll post it here

I have sewing class tomorrow and am looking forward to learning more. Went to a quilting shop today that was fabu and found some things I really needed and couldnt find elsewhere. Signed up with me friend for a celtic not quilting project. Will learn how to do 4 different knots and it is just awesome looking. Sewed some folding holders for my double points and for crochet hooks that turned out pretty good. Made my own pattern and just have to tweak it a little. Still major tweaking going on in my craft room. husband needs to get my shelfs up soon..fabric is tumbling willy nilly all over the place.
