Welcome to Konalter, a world run by the most powerful family in the history of Konalter, the Delacroix family. The Delacroix's were chosen to rule by order of a mandate from the heavens. They are the family the gods have chosen to keep evil from spreading over the land.
The sacrafice is this: A set of twins, forced to strangle eachother. The one that dies becomes the sacrafice. The body is to be torn limb from limb by ropes. These ropes, covered in the sacrafices blood, are used to keep the door of a ferocious devil closed, a devil that resides in the deepest, darkest parts of the Delacroix Palace.
The fifth generation twins, a brother and sister, are now eighteen. They are at the age when the ritual is supposed to be performed. But the problem is this: the sister has been missing since the twins were six years old, along with a young siren. This caused between humans and sirens, as the humans believe that the sirens kidnapped the young princess and killed her, and the sirens believe the same of the humans and their young one. All sirens are now forced to wear things that do not cover their markings, so the humans can tell a human from a siren.
War has begun, and the devil will be released within a weeks time, as the ropes on the door are now weak. The princess needs to be found, or all of Konalter will perish. The Royal family is hiring warriors from all over to find her.

The three main races of this roleplay are Human, Siren, and Hellions, though you can be any race you wish. There will be positions open for members of the royal family, and if you wish to be one of them, your character must be Hellions. You are allowed as many characters as you can handle, and do NOT all have to be the same race. Also, this roleplay requires character bios. The format is posted below.
In case you do not know exactly what a siren is, they are creatures who take on the appearances of beautiful women. They have a small mark on their body that siginifies they are a siren. When they sing, they are actually screeching, but to humans it is the most beautiful sound in the world. Any other race (elves, drows, dragons, etc) hears the screeching when a siren sings. Sirens become even more fragile as they get older, and most are hemophiliacs, meaning if they get cut, the bleeding won't stop unless they get stitches, so Sirens must be incredibly careful.
Hellions are a winged race, and most are extinct, save members of the royal family and a few around Konalter. Hellinos are never to let their grey wings out when around other people, as they are just as hated as Sirens. No one knows that the Royal Family are Hellions.
Members of the royal family are all tanned with black hair and light blue eyes. You can give them any name, appearance, or gender you wish, so long as the things I specified are still there. Weaknesses: She was born missing three ribs, so most of her internal organs are left unprotected. If one were to find the spot where her ribs were missing, they could kill her instantly.
History: She is the missing Princess, though by her demeanor, one would never be able to guess. She's not aware she is what she is. She believes she is a peasant and that she is human. She's lived in the forest, and has been protecting her fragile Siren friend. She has trained herself in the way of the sword, and steals for food.
Appearance: black hair to her waist that she keeps in a ponytail, some hair covering the right side of her face, tanned skin, brilliant light blue eyes, stands about 5'11.
Personality: She's very crude, gets annoyed very easilly, and loves to kick a**.

Appearance: Long white hair and deep blue eyes. A green peasant skirt goes down to her feet which are bare most of the time. Her pale skin shows signs of bruises that were never able to heal. She wears a talisman that seems to be of some use to her. It's purpose is unknown.
Personality: Very calm and level-headed she is the brains of the duo. She can keep her cool together almost anytime she runs into trouble. She looks appealing on the outside but on the inside she's a very distant person. It seems as if she holds deep secrets kept locked away.
