Who loves Vampire Hunter D?
I just LOVE the movie Bloodlust! So come here and talk about it!
Opening topic:
Do you think that Meier may have been a little... um... not really tuned into Charlotte's feelings? She wanted to be a vampire, but he wouldn't do it... and because of that she died.

I am actually more of fan of the original movie. Sure Bloodlust had the graphics but the plot was better in the original.
I think he realised how wonderful it was to be human and did not want her to live the life he was forced to.

the animation for bloodlust was just awesome. i saw the first ova first *obviously* and i wasnt too sure if i wanted to rent the 2nd one. dont get me wrong the first one was awesome but D was so...bleh... and did he end up falling in love with that girl? *in the first ova*
anyway bloodlust was definitely my favorite. 3nodding i just couldnt stand the... "Charlotte"
everytime meier said her name it was like running your nails down a chalkboard. eck. his accent was terrible and predictable. *yes i know about his origins, but still* yuck.

I never seen Bloodlust, but the Vampire Hunter D that I saw was dark and kind of confusing (I don't know, maybe they edited on the channel or something rolleyes .)

O.M.G.! i just found out that in the first movie the guy who voiced Iason in 'Ai no Kusabi' voiced D as well *the japanese VA*!!!!! i know you guys probably dont know what im talking about or give a damn but i was sooooo happy!!!! joygasmic overload!!! heart heart

Vampire Hunter D...now that's an awesome anime movie. <3
I saw Bloodlust before I ever saw the first movie...but I can't really tell which I liked more.
As far as the hand goes, I liked it in Bloodlust more. It brought small doses of humor to the second movie, which I liked. Graphics....I liked more in Bloodlust as well.
However, I liked the plot better for the first movie much better..although the second movie made me sad.....

I found it sad that the hand was only funny in the second movie...but the seriousness and harshness of it in the first movie really added to it...
