Why are you the way you are today?

That's the question I would like to ask the various members of this guild.
Had something greatly influenced you're life?
Is it a piece of music, that certain break up, or possibly a great achievement?

I understand that many people do not like to speak of personal experiences [Such as myself]
But what is something that has led you down the path you now fallow?

----

Once of my own, would be my inspiration from Hamlet, Shakespeare’s famous play. The deep emotions really hit me hard when I was younger.
I remember standing in the school library in 6th grade, going every day to finish reading the book because the teachers wouldn't allow me to take it out, so I would skip many classes to read it.

Another, was when I attended various martial arts classes when I was 11-13. I took Tae kwon do, Kun-fu, and Jujitsu. I learned a lot. Which was great. Sadly, I am out of those teachings now. And I have fallen a victim to arthritis at a young age. I've lost most of the cartilage in my knees for an unknown reason, and there are rips in cartilage that supports the side of my kneecaps. I can still a bit, but sadly not as much, do to my knees becoming dislocated, and the shock of the matter causing me to stop.

To totally different situations. But still. They make me who I am today.
A lover.
A fighter.
And yet still one at heart.

There are many things that have influenced who i am today because they have changed my outlook on people and life.

They are mostly books of many genres, music that have a moral to them, and events that either happened to me or other people.

I don't know why but they make me think differently about what i say and how i think about things.

Because you're still learning, and growing.
Sadly, I think it's as simple as that....

well i would say the things that influenced who i am today the most is my family when they stopped talking to each other and when there was much arguing ,my friends who stayed by my side in my complete a**-ness,my really once-close friend who made me think i wasnt just the only one there with problems and made me look at life differently and changed me forever, other bad memories i put behind me,good memories i miss and continue to rewind and play, books, those songs that just give off this great feeling, and this one guy.

i am particularly not the type of person to go into detail with my personal stuff to the world but ya,those are the main stuff

My life was greatly inspired by a friend, he/she [it remains a mystery on who it is so I'm not giving further clues to gender] always told me to look at the bright side of things. When he/she left recently, I felt like roadkill that's been dragged to the sidewalk [tmi?] for a bit... thus making other people seem to notice my personality changed [it didn't change much though mrgreen (someone told me that I seem to avoid everything nowadays sweatdrop )]
I'm feeling better now 3nodding it could be worse. My life isn't depressing at all [a few problems now and then...].My family and friends are always there to deal with my troubles with me xd .
Obviously my parents and family played a huge part in my personality [I LIVE with them(well, currently with my mom 3nodding [Dad left(brackets within parentheses![oooooooooh])])]. I could go on forever on how my parents influenced me so... yeah I'm stopping here.
I used to be so religious [as in DEVOTED] since I studied in Catholic schools in the Philippines. I'm still Catholic, but I now fully understand that no one knows for sure whether or not God exists[from coming here to the U.S.]. I would feel guilty for even killing an ant[I STILL feel guilty for killing insects].
Well, I'm logging off, I'm going to be practicing piano stuff for the next two hours possibly xp (my choir teacher's probably going to chew me out if she finds out I don't know how to perfectly play the songs for choir).

Those who I feel have affected my life in some way have existed in the material i read, and also the material I continue to create in my mind. The first two, are the co-main characters of the story. They have affected my life as much as I affected theirs. Hopefully they will know I am talking about them, however they may come to read this passage in this thread. The next five probably won't realize it, but they made changes to the way I think, and those changes will probably manifest in the near yet distant future. The rest are all of those whose opinions I take into account and I continue to make changes becaus eof those. I am afraid no one will know who I am talking about, and that will sadden me because I will be unable to tell anyone who they are and how monumental their affect was. Yet I know, that they will know who they are, and that I will be grateful when they do. Sorry for those who are reading this passage, because I will not reveal to you the identities of those who are so highly honored in my mind along with how they affected my life, but that is the way my mind works. Crazily. One hint is, they made it so I won't ever be the person I once was. Fortunately enough. Those of you who do not understand, my apologies for my writings now are sophisticated and I feel this one always will be.

Bryan. To have posted to ALL of these topics. Your crazy. That must be your inspiration. A crazy person. xD
PostPosted: Sun Mar 02, 2008 7:47 pm

A crazy man can be one's best inspiration though.
Threw elementary school, Edger Alan Poe was my inspiration towards manipulating words.
And for tactics, Hitler does have my vote.

So don't shoot down the crazy people.
They just may be on to something.

You need to be stashed into an insane assylum if you say that Bryan's crazy, jk xd

All of us needs to be thrown into isolation once in a while anyways, we're all crazy in our own special way! 4laugh [that's my over-the-top-and-trying-too-hard crazy moment btw mrgreen ]
