I've discussed this some with kitty on the phone and she thinks its just me, but I figured it might make for something to discuss. Am I the only one getting disenchanted with things? I'm wanting to blame it on the cash shop. I feel like I'm geting flooded with items that are a pain to get. Like...it used to be that there would be a couple of donation items and that was it. So I had to figure out when to buy them on the MP. Now with the cash shop many more items are released (or so it feels to me) that I have to go to the MP to get. I realize they are cheaper than donation items generally since they stay around longer and such. It just feels like such a pain to me. Feels like I would have to do alot more work than before to keep up with the influx of items and just the idea of it has kind of made me back off from gaia a lot.
So I'm curious if others have had any similiar kinds of feelings? It could just be me getting tired of things or going through a phase, or maybe there is actually something to my complaint. Anyway...discuss!

One reason that doesn't make sense for you is that you don't even like or use the cash shop items... So why is it any harder? Just don't get them... I mean if you loved every cash shop item tat came out and felt compelled to get them all, that would be one thing. But you don't.

Hm, I'm not sure how I feel about this. Well, I wouldn't say I'm really getting disenchanted. It is good for Gaia, at least, that they're getting more items out there or money for the site but I guess it is hard to achieve collecting the items with no cash. I don't love everything in the cash shop or quest for many things from it, though, so I'm not really effected. I suppose with how popular Gaia has been getting as of late many items are sky rocketing in inflation but, as you said, it isn't really the cash shop. If anything, those go down pretty fast in the first few days something is released. Gaia has been releasing a lot lately which could be overwhelming but I rather enjoy it. Besides the MTV crap, that is. I wish that would be over already but it looks like we're stuck with it.

Yeah the MTv stuff is... lame... But you have to take into consideration that there are some Gaia users with an interest in stuff like that. And you have to appeal to everyone. Just because we don't care for it doesn't mean no one will ^.^; The yellow shirt thingy was kinda cute...

:/ The only mtv item I really like... must be the skinny jeans.
Well, at least they don't do lame things like some other site, where they just cover the sponsored items in logos and such...
