Hey Guys! I´m lookin for Speed/Powermetal bands.
Listening to Dragonforce, Gamma Ray, Edguy, Helloween and Exciter at the moment but I NEED MORE!!!!!
So...you know any good Speed/Powermetal Band that plays really hard and fast? Let me know! I need stuff! twisted

Sorry 'bout that, never noticed this thread... let's go with Angra, Axxis, Battlelore, Cadacross, Dark Moor, Falconer, Helloween, Iced Earth, Jag Panzer, Kiuas, Lost Horizon, Mantacore, Nightwish, Oratory, and that's some... I got some more though, but that should help you out.

I heart Blind Guardian, they're not heavy or fast but I love them. They're just epic. There's no other word for songs like Battlefield. Everyone keeps telling me that I should listen to Iced Earth, but I just can't get into them. I also get recommended Hammerfall alot, but the only song by them I actually like is Hammer of Justice. I listen to Hearts on Fire alot, but only because the vocal solo cracks me up. (It sounds like he's saying "Arse of Ire", heehee!) My freind always tries to play Helloween on his accoustic, but he's really bad at it. Kinda killed most of their songs for me. Jag Panzer is alright, I got one of their videos on my profile (I don't remember which one). I used to listen to Vintersorn and Amon Amarth nonstop, but they're not really power metal.

Of that list, Helloween and Blind Guardian are really the only Power/Speed Metal bands mentioned. xp Hammerfall dabbles in it, however. Anyways, my recs for strictly Power/Speed would be Riot, Iron Savior, Grave Digger, and Hibria.
