Alright, if there are those of you still checking in, us down in The Underground Building are talking about changing The Room into a thread in Barton Town. So far we've not managed to stir up much interest (likely because none of us have a clue about guild advertising) in The Artificial Room, and the best way anyone's come up with so far of salvaging all the hard work we've done on the guild is to convert it into a thread.
This would mean jumping straight into the middle of the plot (as it would not constitute a Barton-worthy roleplay otherwise), getting things rolling very quickly, and more or less abandoning the guild. Without giving too much away plot-wise, it would likely also mean that not much of what you recognize as The Artificial Room would remain. If anyone's checking in and has any thoughts or objections, speak now or forever hold your peace!
Okay, okay, that was a little bit dramatic. This is far from set in stone at the moment, but we would genuinely like to hear your thoughts if you're out there. Please post and let us know! I invite mods to post their thoughts and opinions on it as well, in case you have anything you'd like to get out in the open.
Anyhow, if/when the roleplay gets turned into a thread, you will be able to find the link here.

My best interest is for this guild. And I think that our only option now is to turn the guild into a thread. Threads nowadays seem to be more popular than guilds. And for future thoughts, if the Artificial Room thread gets enough people or becomes overcrowded we could move back to the guild.

That, and I think people check back with threads more than they do with guilds 'cause of the simple fact that we're lazy, and that's easier to do via the subscribed threads option. It's a shame there wasn't a one click button straight to this guild, it'd prolly be one of those first priorities you do when you first get on. Unfortunately I forget a lot of the times to check for new stuff here, not to mention its slow pace isn't exactly convincing mentally when I'm deciding what to do on Gaia.
