+This is my favorite picture of all the entries. It shows great attention to the photography aspect of the contest. The title and theme and picture flow together, while the soft focus and colors add to the dreaming effect.

The colors are definitely eye-catching, and that's great. But I think the focus is more on them than on you, and that slightly takes away from your camwhoring. When I look at this picture, I mostly just stare at that skirt and that shoe. Furthermore, I'm not sure how evident it is that your hobby is "dress up." But your face looks strong, and your picture is far from bland.

I like the idea of having the controller plug thing in your mouth. I'm not sure what you intended it to look like, but it seems to me that it's plugging into you, so it's like it's a part of you. It's clear what your hobby is. But other than that, there's not much I see in this picture. Next time try a little more than just holding a controller and looking up at the camera.

I would've given you props for the reminiscent dull colors if it weren't for that horribly harsh red. I understand what you were going for, but you choose the wrong color to highlight the equipment with. Maybe a brighter grey-blue would've been fine, but highlighting is probably unnecessary anyway. I would've liked a happier picture, maybe like you were excited to get outside to play, but I can see how it might instead look like you can't play and you're wishing you could. Overall, I feel this is just decent.

Good idea and a good way of showing it. I like the idea of writing the words in the air [or wherever you meant that to be] instead of on paper or something. The border was too much and just takes away from your picture. I like that you have faded words all across the picture. The highlighting is well done. Your face is okay. It's a little dull for a camwhore shot, but you definitely look into what you're doing. The black&white is a good touch to concentrate the focus.

Love. It. This is my favorite. Love how all the colors go together [they all seem sorta like earth tones]. Love all the doodles, and the moustache, and the marker on the lip. Love that serious expression like, "Yeah, what?" The jewelry is another good touch. The marker in your hair is bothering me a little, but only because of the color. It doesn't quite go with the rest of the colors in the picture. Besides that, there is not a thing I don't like about this picture. Perfect.

I know what you're hobby is just from looking at it, but other than that, there isn't really a whole lot that's good about this picture. Color probably would've been better. It looks like a candid shot, in a bad way. Try being a little more artistic next time.

Where's your face? This picture is definitely a lot more about that sharpie and that red paper than you. And it doesn't look like you're hobbiless. You're drawing. If you're hobbiless, maybe just sit around looking bored? The color is also bad on this one. This isn't a good picture.

It fits the theme, it's obvious what your hobby is, and the stacking of the mangas is a comical though not unheard of tactic. But there's a whole lot going on in this picture. My eyes go from books to you to the plant to some grey thing, etc. Make more focus on you, with some of the focus on those stacks of mangas. You look very dull in this picture, too.

Nice idea. Funny using the brush as a mic. Love the angle. You certainly look like you're enjoying yourself. It's realistic. But your hair looks a little strange. And there's a lot going on in the background. And I know you've already heard a lot about that underwear thing, but maybe you should've tried boy shorts instead, or maybe pajama shorts. But in all honesty, the underwear thing isn't really much of an issue. Overall, good picture, but not amazing.

This picture is really cute. You look so innocent and the bear is a lovely touch. I like the colors in the picture. I'm not quite so sure how well "dreaming" fits the hobby theme, but I suppose it's close enough. I almost didn't notice it, but the border is a nice touch. Very simple, just like borders should be.

Love the angle. Love the color. Love the floor you chose to do it on. Environment certainly contributes to the picture, so it's good yours is simple and interesting. There's not much else going on in this picture but you, which is great. Your facial expression is good and it's cool that I can see your drawing. I would only suggest cutting out a bit of that floor above your feet and making taking the stuff off that wall [white board?].

Ohh! We have really good candidates this time~! I love so many of the pictures up there! And I didn’t do this for cycle two because I was so disappointed in the drop outs in there, but with so many entries (this will be a long post…) I’m gonna try to say what I think of it!

Charm Alarm: I really like the colorful clothes and the giant shoe chair you’re sitting in! That’s a really nice touch. =] I don’t really like your expression though. When I think of dress up, I think of sassy or girly or something along those lines. In yours I see like a tough girl than someone who enjoying dressing up.

K33P YOUR PANTS ON: The idea behind of your picture is interesting enough, but it would have been better if you had someone else take the picture for you, or if not, at least don’t show your arm sticking out like that.

ScaredCrow the Spiffy: There’s a nice light coming out of the window, but I really don’t like how the red is highlighted in this. Everything had a light blue tone, really tranquil and all, but then the harsh red color just kind of ruins it or me. If it was all left in that light blue tone, it would’ve seem like you were looking back at a past game or you were looking forward to the next one because the light gives a bit of a dream like feeling.

JessieBaby`: This picture, I admit, connects with me because I like to write and tell stories. I like how you look like you’re concentrating on the words you’re writing, and the words faded around gives a nice touch. It could have gone without the border though because I think that just takes away from the picture.

Lady Glompage: XDDDD <~ that was my first reaction to the picture. I love how you’re arms are all doodled on and there’s even a random marker stuck in your hair! It’s a very playful picture, but your eyes looks really unfocused. It would have gone more with the self-humiliation part if you had made a surprised look like wide eyes from being caught in such an embarrassing position. Or a more playful look to go along with the playful atmosphere from everything else.

Porcelain Hearts: This is a nice picture, I will say that, but it doesn’t really jump out at me. It makes me think of those behind the scenes films that aren’t really high quality that bands make of themselves sometimes. I think it would have been much much better in color. =/

Eruvanda: The picture doesn’t really seem to match the title. Since you are drawing in that picture, that seems like it would be your hobby, so I don’t really understand how that would be hobbiless. Also, you should have shown your face in this picture. All you really see is a mass of hair, and the focus isn’t really on you. What I look at is the poster and not at all at you.

Blackmager: Now that is something I really like to do! The piles of manga are good and emphasized the point, but why put one on your head? I don’t really understand that. I like how you can kinda see the cover of the closest one to us, and it makes it seem like there is more, but it would have been better if you moved the pile on the left over a bit more so it could be seen. That way, it’ll look like even more and that you’re completely surrounded.

Meili Cakes: I love the underwear right there, and how you’re giving the illusion that you’re just dancing around your room in your underwear singing whatever is blaring out of your stereo or whatever you play your music to. If your tilted your face just slightly to us though, there would be more focus on that and the brush because my eyes are immediately brought to your crotch every time I look at this picture. Seriously, every time I try to look at your face, my eyes automatically go down to your underwear...

Rainbow Banana Trees: I can hear the snores coming out of this picture. Lol A good thing or a bad thing? I’m not sure. This picture looks like someone snuck in on your while you really were sleeping and just snapped a picture. The face should have been brought closer to us so it’d make the picture more interesting, or even more of the body should have been included in.

Fredrick-Fuzzball: This picture is just adorable. You look very comfortable in that chair, and I just feel like I want to curl up right next to you and take a nap. I love how your body is curled up and cuddling the bear like you’re a little girl. The border does make it seem more dream like, but I could do without it. Or maybe make it seem a bit mistier to make it seem more dream like. Like in the TV shows where the corners are all hazy when they have a flashback or dream.

Hattey: I like how you’re looking up like “What do you want?” because you were interrupted while you were drawing. It’s even really nice to be able to see what you’re drawing in your hands, and the pose you’re in seems very natural and comfortable for what you’re doing. I could go without all of that extra floor though. It gives a nice texture around you, but there’s a bit too much of it.

PHEW! That was long~! XD But it was pretty fun.

And ooh! It’s a three way tie for me between Fredrick-Fuzzball Hattey and Lady Glompage >___<

Your crotch is fine, but you need to eat, cause your a twig.
Yours was my second favorite. I do that on occasion, but I like singing in German more.

JessieBaby` is who I vote for,
not only because My `condom baby` loves her,
but because I liked her face, and the effects she used on her picture.
I loveee telling stories too, although most of mine revolve around Greece, and everyone gets tired of them.
