Behind the strange door in the metal chest lies Myles' workshop. It is a vast space, like a warehouse, with chains and pulleys hung from the ceiling, which features a large circular window with an iris shutter. The walls are covered with racks and shelves that hold all sorts of things. Tools, some mundane but others with no recognizable function. Devices of all kinds. Trinkets, toys, and all sorts of objects large and small. None of these racks or shelves is low enough to reach from the floor.

To the left as you walk in is a living space. In the corner where the walls meet is social area, with a wide coffeetable flanked by a sofa and a futon. Next to this along the wall is a hallway with doors leading to a guest room, a washroom, and secured storage areas.

In the corner to the right is an ornate swiveling chair that is on a base which is bolted to the floor. In the wall before it is a thick half-sphere window that looks out on an underwater scene, or a mountain vista, or the Earth from space, or the surface of Mars, or any one of a boggling array of periodically shifting views.

Kyro walks into the workshop and looks around. "Holy crap. How the hell did all of this fit into that chest?" He looks at everything in the workshop, running around like a little kid. "Amazing. This is truely a paradise for inventors and scientists." He says as he walks over and on the couch. He turns to see Tay looking around. "So Tay, you like Myles? Well from the looks of this place, it looks like you made a good choice. But whats even better is that she's a triple threat. She's smart, pretty, and kind. So while she's not here yet, I want to say good luck to you. I'll support you and your feelings for her." He said, smiling and giving a thumbs up. "Well, Im sure you'd be fine even without my support, but I just want to let you know how I feel."

Shuana enters and looks at all the room. She turns to see Myles and Tay talking about something. Then she sees Kyro on the couch and goes over to talk to him. "So Kyro, how do you like the school. I'll bet its alot differant from any other place you've been before, right?"

"I don't know if I can or not. I want to say yes, and I don't want to sound like a shallow person, but I don't know if I can change who I am just like that."

"I wouldn't want you to change who you are for me. I guess the only thing we can do is to try it and see what happens. 3nodding "

She kisses Tay's cheek with a smile. "Let's go sit down."

She sits on the futon and says, "Does anybody want something to drink, or snack on? I can get you pretty much anything from in here."

Myles shakes her head with a wry grin and says in a friendly tone, "You are an idiot. Love is love. A guy falling in love is just as beautiful. Take my word for it, because I'm probably the only person in this school who can tell you with firsthand experience that the differences between the sexes aren't nearly as profound as you think they are."

"I can see where you'd come to that conclusion, but logically it doesn't hold up. Information about the opposite sex obtained from a lover is still secondhand information, somebody had to tell you about it, you didn't experience it for yourself. And then I'd have to be pretty arrogant to claim that I'm the only bisexual in this school."

Kyro thinks for a second. "Oh yeah, I guess your right. Oh well. You cant expect anything logical to come from an idiot like me, can you?" He said in a strangly proud way. "There will always be that invisible barrier that idiots cant get past. But its ok, being smart doesnt really suit someone like me." He said hitting himself in the head.
