Heya everyone! I'm still on semi-hiatus (thus the topic still being up about me being unavailable) so that I can knit like a mad woman the rest of this week for this upcoming Saturday. I have a long que of hats to knit up and I'm so excited about all of them!!

So what has everyone been knitting as of late?
I know that we can't be THAT consumed with gaia to the point where we don't knit ;P

Oh, I love talking projects. Currently, I have (*counts*) three projects going. One I've named "Monster scarf" ( domokun ); it's about eight inches wide. The colours are red and black, coinsidently my school colors.

There's a magenta bag-in-progress, which I pick up whenever I have the chance. It's cheating, in my opinion ( sweatdrop ), because I'm using a knitting ring. Still, it's handy for those felting projects seeing as those holes close up in the wash.

Last but not least is a felted bag for my friend. It's dark grey and measures about eight by six inches. The button will be red, and I still need to make the strap.

Hey there everyone!

I've started a new knit project, I am making a Baby Surprise Jacket. It's knit as one piece (odd shapped piece) and the edges are sewn together to make the jacket. I'm about 6 rows in, so I've just started this is going to be fun.... I hope 3nodding

Oh my god your monster scarf reminded me of my "Monster Beanie" that I knit. It still needs the teeth but its AWESOME nonetheless in all its retarded glory. xD

My latest projects...two are done and the last one is almost done. smile I think I'm going to knit a snake next...or a monkey. Zoe Mellor's Knitted Toy book is a must for knitters.

Pictures for people!!
Best Buds
The stegosaurus and the Dog. smile
And of course...my socks, of which I am currently in the middle of the second one.

Cool, another chance to share my Bunny Peep cuteness! biggrin I think I shall just copy and paste from my other post in my guild... (oh, hey, Minyaagar! Fancy seeing you here, in the guild I found you in! xd )

A long time ago, I was looking for a last-minute gift for my grandma, and found a pattern for a bunny peep. I made it and since then have made many for my friends who love them, even though I don't think they're all that and a bag of chips. Recently I made another just for the sake of posting it up on Ravelry. I actually think this one is pretty cute with its little face! Here is the pattern:

I like the 2nd one the best, last one the least. Did lotsa editing on the 2nd, none on the last, so maybe that's why. biggrin
Also, I only recently noticed that the stuffing is showing through. Ah, well. Too late now.

I also am working on a self-created Sally doll from The Nightmare Before Christmas, but I think I will just link it this time.

EDIT: For some reason, now that I'm using the computer in my mom's office again, I can't see the pictures... If anybody else can't see them and wants to, quote the whole thing, find the IMG tags, and copy/paste the URLs into another tab or window. Then don't actually post a response, unless you want to...

Its so dead in here! : [
Well, this is what I've been up to :
-Trying to figure out knitting in the round even though its the easiest thing to learn... ever.
-knitting 10(or more) personalized children's scarves for family(my husbands nieces and nephews and my cousins.) They'll vary from awesome to boring depending on the child.
-making a baby set for my brother. His baby is due in about three months. (includes the loch ness monster, booties, and hat., the hat isn't happening 'cause I can't figure out round yet)
-I'm also in the process of learning how to make cupcakes and sharks.
I've been super busy!

Wow...so I have been really busy with knitting.
I just haven't told anyone about the projects.
I finished a hat and sock set for my new nephew, who was born on Christmas day!

I'm working on a cable scarf for him as well. It's about 3/4ths of the way done.
Then I have the two sets of socks I'm working on, one pair will be for me the other will be for my sister who had the baby.
I finished a scarf out of irregular spun yarn that a weaver friend gave me. I'm also trying to teach an 9 and 13 year old sisters how to knit. It seems like I'm doing more of the knitting for them. But oh well. Once they really get into it they'll go a lot farther with it.
I have a slytherin scarf that I'm working on for my best friend as well. I need to work more on it. So she can use it before winter is over. Though...knowing her she will probably wear it in the middle of summer as well. razz

There's my update!
