I've been playing ice hockey since September, and I've been having a blast. It's also been doing wonders for my lower back, and it's great cardio. If you play right, they even make you take a break for 2, 5, or 10 minutes.

You, sir, are hardcore. I may be a Flyers and Stars fan (grew up with a Flyers fan for a dad, but the Stars got me into it again after my move to Texas), but I salute you!

Hehe especially now seeing as we are struggling so badly. I have been a fan since 1999 when I was only young and I have spent the past 8 / 9 years cheering for them come rain or shine.
I have loads of NHL jerseys, I love wearing them, specially as its really cold at the moment here in the UK, its minus 7 most mornings at the mo.

Vinniebabe Hehe especially now seeing as we are struggling so badly. I have been a fan since 1999 when I was only young and I have spent the past 8 / 9 years cheering for them come rain or shine. Well I grew up in Sharks territory before it was Sharks territory, watching the Flyers on the rare occasion when they'd show them. Then I stuck with the Flyers still, until a couple years ago when I got back into it with the Stars. Fortunately for me, the Flyers and Stars are in opposite conferences. I'm actually wearing my FDNY Hockey Team jersey right now, it's an XL and I take an XXL when I'm wearing my pads.

I love hockey, but I don't play it because I'm a wuss. I'm not really a wuss, I just have bad ankles and flat feet. That makes ice skating an impossible task for me. crying
I am a born and raised Texan, but I've been a fan of hockey since before the Stars came to town. My first loves are the Detroit Red Wings (still my favourite team) and the Calgary Flames.
I became an instant Stars fan when they came to Dallas, but they still can't quite beat out my love for the Red Wings. They're almost tied in my affections, really. The team I cheer for when they're head-to-head generally depends on what the rankings are. They both have a good chance of making it to the play-offs right now, so it's rough. sweatdrop
Other teams I have a high respect for: New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils, Boston Bruins, Philadelphia Flyers, and Pittsburgh Penguins. I am impressed by the Chicago Blackhawks this season as well, but historically, I don't care for them.
The teams I loathe: Vancouver Canucks, Anaheim Ducks, San Jose Sharks, and Nashville Predators.
