its one of those running pokemons right? my way: Load up with lots of SuperRepel, quickBall or Duskball (duskball if its night-time your hunting). 2 pokemons needed.
1st:a pokemon that knows hypnosis. or any other status-causing attack. i did not have a fast enough pokemon with hypnosis, so i gave quickclaw to mine.
2nd: on the safe side: a weaker than mesprit pokemon (you dont wanna K.O the mesprit, right?)
the south exit of Jubilife-city, just go in and out of the city untill the Poketch marking map shows the pokemon-dot outside south exit of jubilifecity.
(marking map Location: Obtained from President of Poketch Company after obtaining 3rd Badge)
so... a weakerthanmesprit-pokemon that knows quick-attack or any attack that gives you the 1st turn, unless its a quick pokemon, then just lower the HP of mesprit every time you encounter it. and hope for the best as you throw the balls.
same tactic worked for me on cresselia
