This topic is even broader than the film one, as I sit here with Iron Maiden shaking the walls I ask myself, "why is British so consistently good at making great songs?" I mean from all eras, through time Britain has so often led the way in so many genres.
There are loads of great band and musicians from the 1800's till right now, which songs or groups for you, are the best?

Secondly, I'd like to say that I love Muse with a burning passion above all other music groups, ever.
And why are the British so consistently good at making great songs?
I don't know. But maybe it's best not to question it. Hmmm.

Foetus In Fetu illyrianth Aren't the lads in Muse from Tavistock? Teignmouth, Devon. Muse have got some pretty good songs but some of their music sounds awfully familiar and, in my opinion, Absolution is completely overrated. Good live. Seriously, though, there are too many good British bands to name them all. THANK you! I knew it was a T and Tavy didn't SEEM quite right...~nods~

And yes, a little overrated, but good all the same. Though, personally, I've never seen them live, so I can't comment. sweatdrop I've never seen anyone live.

I guess I have a really girly taste in music...
Erm other than the albums I own I like Franz Ferdinand, Ash, Jentina and Muse.
