I was wondering if anyone watches Deathnote here if ya do talk about it here in this forum thread. My favorite character's are L and Light of course. But mostly L because he's soooo cuuuute and hot heart sweatdrop blaugh wink whee 4laugh

Been watching it the past few weeks, I'm up to eps 26 i believe. It's been good for the most part. I don't care too much for L though I like Light and Ryuk the most. Actually Watari was pretty sweet as well. Although with about 11 eps left I have no idea what is going to happen or where they are going to go. But we shall see.
So far I'd rate it a 9 out of 10.
My favorite thing about it is the music, absolutely incredible.

I like Death Note. Near-kun is kawaii. Mello creeps me out.
I was sad when L died. =(
Right now I'm reading the Death Note novel (The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases) and it's pretty good. =DD

So I just finished the last eps of Death Note. It was good I will stick with a score of about 9 out of 10. I really wanted to know what would happen next although, some parts of the story I really felt kind of lost and thought they should have ended it somewhere else.

I really really hate the ending. I know Light was technically the bad guy and evil, but damnit I wanted him to win it all in the end. STUPID SUPTID Mikami retrieving the real thing. I had a feeling that no one was going to die, but grrr I kept hoping. And Near pissed me off, ugh, I wasn't a fan of L but man Near was a lot worse. I wanted Light to escape and regain his strength and live. Then figure out how to get the notebooks back and win!
He really started to go crazy though, when he started laughing hysterically for a second there I almost thought, HE PULLED IT OFF!! He thought of everything and won! and then all he said was "I am Kira" and I was disappointed.

So ya Death Note was good, but the main flaw in the show is it's strongest suit. I didn't know who to root for the entire time. Should I want Light to create his perfect world, or should he be stopped for his crimes. And because of my indifference I felt it hard to completly enjoy the show. And yet with out it I probably wouldn't have finished watching it all as fast as I had.
I will admit I almost completly lost interest in the show when Misa showed up as (highlight)The second Kira and then when (highlight)Light locked himself up and passed the notebook to the corporation. Although getting it back was super sweet it's just at first I was hoping the notebook didn't stay out of Light's hands. Light Needs the notebook!

ya the show is amazing and so is the music but the new theme song is the worst and so is the ending(the ending song is good when the guy actually sings instead of hearing bigfoot screaming) its a good show but now the episode for amaerica(not tryign to spoil anything) is so gay light forgeting everything i really have no idea what the hell is happening i missed one 2 mins of an episode and didnt know what the hell was happening
i like L since hes funn and cool but pretty boring light being both twisted and cool is why hes my fav
my fav part from the america episodes is:
misa"i cant believe in a world without light
L"yes that would be dark"

I downloaded the mp3 and really like it haha. Don't worry just keep watching these episodes are a little slow but believe me once it picks up again it feels like it had never slowed down. And it's pretty sweet. So keep watching. I'm watching the English version now and I hate Light's voice, his Japanese Voice actor sounds so much better. But I definitly recommend finishing it up. And now that the ending and everything has sunk in I'm actually really liking the whole thing. For the most part.

Then again 95% of the anime I watch I prefer the sub'd version. The only exceptions are I prefer English Cowboy Bebop and Full Metal Alchemist. He is weird. The weird way he sits, eats, hold's things. It's just different. He's messy looking, and logically isn't any different from Light. What is it about L that makes him so popular? I think Light is better because he actually beats L xd
