Hello, first off I'd like to thank Ilpalazzo-sama for making this subforums for all us metalheads to write about our bands.
As the title denotes, most of my posts will be about Power Metal bands, however there will be some stuff on Thrash metal, and just about every other kind I can name, such as: Death, Doom, Black, Dark, Avant-garde, Industrial, Progressive, Alternative, Nu (even though most of it doesn't seem metally enough), Viking, Classic and sorry to any I forgot.
Anyways, there are lots and this is the place to put it all. So go wild, I'll probably start between 1-12 new threads here today, so try and look 'em up, and make sure to post your favorite metal bands too.
Just be sure to write stuff about them, ok. Well, now to work ^_^

Nice work! I think Korn is probably the hardest? band I listen to. Dude- give me a link or something so I can converse intelligently on the subject. lolz

Don't type it here, but do you have an msn account or a yahoo account or anything? Cause my computer's a little iffy... 99% of the time which makes my work all the more hard. Uh, yeah, but if you've got either of those, I could easily send you several songs... probably a sample from each power metal band I know to start and then we'll see where it goes from there. Bascially, power metal is a lot of mythology and fantasy and stuff like that. Oh, and it's heavy and generally (but not always) fast.
Korn (wit' it's backwards R and such) is a Nu Metal band, I don't think I would classify it any higher than that though, sorry.
Yeah, so for the rest of you, if you want/need samples of these bands cause you don't know what I'm talking about, just pm me and we'll work something out.

yeah, I knew Korn was spelled with the backwards letter- but cut and pasting a word through photo-shop for a post just seemed a**l- so I let it be implied.

WOW the drums and horses thunder in my head at the awesome mighty power metal-ness of it all....
.... i think i need to lie down......
It's such a good thing in this day and age to see bands like Accept, and Helloween, and metal church getting a mention..... ahhhhhh, my WELL-spent youth!!!!! Horns to ya, and balls to the wall bb!!!!

I stumbled upon Sonata Arctica on my own and yeah..I run around the house, arms flailing whenever Full Moon comes on e__e My good friend magmayoshi got me into Blind Guardian and Rhapsody of Fire and I've never been happier.
