KINGDOM HEARTS IS ONE OF THE BEST GAMES I'VE EVER PLAYED AND FAVORITE CHARACTER IS AXEL, BUT THATS JUST BECAUSE HE HAS MY STYLE. TO GET THE FULL EFFECT OF THE GAME I DRESS UP IN MY GOOFY COSTUME AND SWING MY KEYBLADE AROUND AIMLESSLY!!!!! burning_eyes

I finally picked up Kingdom Hearts (the first). I really like it for the most part, but i also hate Goofy so EFFING MUCH!!! He appears in front of Sora right when he's about to jump. In the half-second between hitting circle and the feet leaving the ground, there's that stupid-looking dog-man blocking the way. He obstructs the jump, Sora loses momentum and he falls, making me repeat way too many rooms and jumps. This is especially bad inside Monstro. He also is minimally helpful in combat but hogs exp. and gets in the way while looking around. If they would just alter Goofy's AI a bit, i would love KH. As is, though, i can't fully forgive a game that makes me think 'could Goofy get the ******** off my nuts for a minute!?'.

It isn't as bad once i got into the more open spaces of Hollow Bastion. And it turns out he and Donald are very attentive healers, which was helpful.

Anyway, i've since cleared the game. Ansem is a push-over. But i have three questions.

Is there a New Game+ option like in Chrono Trigger? i waited through the 'End' screen for a few minutes, diggin' the pretty tune, but nothing else happened. And if there isn't such an option, why is Ansem's final form worth experience?

LANCE BASS AS SEPHIROTH!?!

i'm gathering materials to forge the Ultima Weapon so maybe it'll take Sephiroth four seconds to kill me instead of the current record of three. But...i can already hear people giggling at this, but...where can i find a bunch of mushrooms to beat on so i can take their mysterious goo?

And you don't get spoils from the Colosseum. Curses!

i now have Kingdom Hearts II: The Heartening. But i haven't played it yet. i'm too busy rockin' out to the the whistle solo on the opening theme. It's like Utada Hikaru is my soccer coach! Bitchin'!!

So does everyone else.

i hope Madam Mim (Sword in the Stone), a Robin Hood world, maybe some places from Square games (Wutai, Chronopolis, places like that), something from Chrono Trigger (i want Crono in my party in the worst way) and what the hell, the-video-to-Thriller-world, are in the next game.
Or maybe some places from non-Square games. Silent Hill (with PyramidHead in your party?), San Andreas, some places and characters from Soul Calibur.

If Tron can be a world, why not Blade Runner? How about DuckTales or Darkwing Duck? ToonDisney shows Batman now. If they have the rights to it, i'd love to fight The Joker. Maybe a Super Robot Money Team Hyperforce, Go! world? Pinky and The Brain world could be the coolest thing ever captured on disc.

Madam Mim is hilarous! It'd be awesome to see her in KH. And a Robin Hood world would be fun! Chrono would be an awesome party member, and I totally support places from other Square games. Non-Square games not so much, but it would be awesome fighting with Pyramidhead and Soul Calibur people!
Woah, Darkwing Duck and Duck Tales- that's a blast from the past! ...now I'm gonna have the Darkwing Duck theme stuck in my head... Yes, a fight with the Joker would be awesome! And I have to agree, Pinky and the Brain would definately be one of the coolest things on disc.
