Based off the Death Note series, I have gathered all info on the rules and the shinigami. I will say now that only six death notes may be in the world and work at a time, even though their are more than 6 shinigami, and you may pick one to be yours which follows you around if you have a death note and can only be seen by you unless someone touches a part of your death note. all rules and Shinigami are listed bellow^^

1. The human whose name is written in the note shall die.

2. The note will not take effect unless the writer has the person's face in their mind when writing his/her name. Therefore, people sharing the same name will not be affected.

3. If the cause of death is written within 40 seconds of writing the person's name, it will happen.

4. If the cause of death is not specified, the person will simply die of a heart attack.

5. After writing the cause of death, details of the death should be written in the next 6 minutes and 40 seconds, conditions may be changed as long as the person is still alive.

6. The note shall become the property of the human world, once it touches the ground of (arrives in) the human world.

7. The owner of the note can recognize the image and voice of its original owner, i.e. a god of death.

8. The human who uses this note can neither go to Heaven nor Hell. they go to mu (nothingness)

9. If the time of death is written within 40 seconds after writing the cause of death as a heart attack, the time of death can be manipulated, and the time can go into effect within 40 seconds after writing the name.

10. The human who touches the Death Note can recognize the image and voice of its original owner, a god of death, even if the human is not the owner of the note.

11. The person in possession of the Death Note is possessed by a god of death, its original owner, until they die.

12. If a human uses the note, a god of death usually appears in front of him/her within 39 days after he/she uses the note.

13. Gods of death, the original owners of the Death Note, do not do, in principle, anything which will help or prevent the deaths in the note.

14. A god of death has no obligation to completely explain how to use the note or rules which will apply to the human who owns it.

15. A god of death can extend his life by putting human names on the note, but humans cannot.

16. A person can shorten his or her own life by using the note.

17. The human who becomes the owner of the Death Note can, in exchange of half of his/her remaining life, get the eyeballs of the god of death which will enable him/her to see a humans name and remaining lifetime when looking through them.

18. A god of death cannot be killed even if stabbed in his heart with a knife or shot in the head with a gun. However, there are ways to kill a god of death, which are not generally known to the gods of death.

19. The conditions for death will not be realized unless it is physically possible for that human or it is reasonably assumed to be carried out by that human.

20. The specific scope of the condition for death is not known to the gods of death, either. So, you must examine and find out.

21. One page taken from the Death Note, or even a fragment of the page, contains the full effects of the note.

22. The instrument to write with can be anything, ( e.g. cosmetics, blood, etc.) as long as it can write directly onto the note and remains as legible letters.

23. Even the original owners of the Death Note, gods of death, do not know much about the note.

24. You may also write the cause and/or details of death prior to filling in the name of the individuals. Be sure to insert the name in front of the written cause of death. You have about 19 days (according to the human calender0 in order to fill in a name.

25. Even if you do not actually possess the Death Note, the effect will be the same if you can recognize the person and his/her name to place in the blank.

26. The Death Note will not affect those under 780 days old.

27. The Death Note will be rendered useless if the victim's name is misspelled four times.

28. If a name is misspelled four times the persons name that is misspelled will be immune to be killed by the death note.

29. If a name is misspelled four times on purpose then the writer of the name will die of a heart attack, and the name being written will not be immune to the death note.

30. "Suicide" is a valid cause of death. Basically, all humans are thought to possess the possibility to commit suicide, it is, therefore, not something "unbelievable to think of".

31. Whether the cause of the individual's death is either a suicide or accident, if the death leads to the death of more than the intended, the person will simply die of a heart attack. This is to ensure that other lives are not influenced.

32. If you relinquish ownership of the death Note, you will lose all your memories of the death note and of the Shinigami until you touch the note or part of it

33. Once regaining your memories the original owner of the death note must either relinquish his ownership or die before you officially own the note, if you lose the note or drop it before the original owner dies or relinquishes his ownership you will lose your memories again

34. You cannot kill humans with less than 12 minutes of life left (in human calculations)

35. a god of death who comes to the human world，in the objective to kill the owner of the DEATH NOTE，will not be able to do so

36. Only a god of death that has passed on their DEATH NOTE to a human is able to kill the owner of the DEATH NOTE

37. If writing the same name on more than two Death Notes is completed within a 0.06-second difference, it is regarded as simultaneous; the Death Note will not take effect and the individual written will not die

38. if the name is written in two death notes then the first to be completed takes effect

39. Even after the individual's name, the time of death, and death condition on the Death Note were filled out, the time and condition of death can be altered as many times as you want, as long as it is changed within 6 minutes and 40 seconds from the time it was filled it. But, of course, this is only possible before the victims dies.

40. Whenever you want to change anything written on the Death Note within 6 minutes and 40 seconds after you wrote, you must first rule out the characters you want to erase with two straight lines.

41. As you see above, the time and condition of death can be changed, but once the victim's name has been written, the individual's death can never be avoided.

42. If you lose the Death Note or have it stolen, you will lose its ownership unless you retrieve it within 490 days.

43. If you have traded the eye power of a god of death, you will lose the eye power as well as the memory of the Death Note, once you lose its ownership. At the same time, the remaining half of your life will not be restored.

44. You may lend the Death Note to another person while maintaining its ownership.

45. The borrower of the Death Note will not be followed by a god of death.
The god of death always remains with the owner of the Death Note.
Also, the borrower cannot trade the eyesight of the god of death.

46. When the owner of the Death Note dies while the Note is being lent, its ownership will be transfered to the person who is holding it at that time.

47. If the Death Note is stolen and the owner is killed by the thief, its ownership will automatically be transferred to the thief.

48. The god of death must at least own one Death Note. That Death Note must never be lent to or written on by a human.

49. Exchanging and writing on the Death Note between the gods of death is no problem.

50. If the god of death decides to use the Death Note to kill the assassin of an individual he favors, the individual's life will be extended, but the god of death will die.

51. The dead god of death will disappear, but the Death Note will remain. The ownership of this Death Note is usually carried over to the next god of death that touches it, but it is common sense that it is returned to the Great god of death

52. Only by touching each other's Death Note can human individuals who own the Death Note in the human world recognize the appearance or voice of each other's god of death.

53. An individual with the eye power of a god of death can tell the name and life span of other humans by looking at that person's face.
By possessing the Death Note, an individual gains the ability to kill and stops being a victim. From this point, a person with the Death Note cannot see the life span of other Death Note owners, including him/herself. But, it is not really necessary for the individual to view the life span of him/herself nor other Death Note owners.

54. The god of death must not tell humans the names of lifespans on individuals he sees. This is to avoid confusion in the human world.

55.There are laws in the world of gods of death. If a god of death should break the law, there are 9 levels of severity starting at level 8 and going up to level 1 plus the extreme level. For severity levels above 3 the god of death will be killed after being punished -For example, killing a human without using the death note is considered the extreme level

SHINIGAMI

Ryuk
For a Shinigami, Ryuk has a fairly humanoid appearance. Though his skin is pale and his limbs are abnormally long and he has yellow eyes with red irises and no pupils, he otherwise looks ordinary. Ryuk is characterized by his constant amusement by, and apathy in regards to, his owners problems. He enjoys seeing people overcome the various challenges put to them, and often waits until the worst possible moment to inform his owner of a certain aspect of the Death Note just to get a laugh. He is occasionally helpful if it serves his own interests, such as obtaining apples or furthering his own amusement, but for the most part will jokingly taunt about what the next move will be.Ryuk has a great fondness for apples, comparing them to cigarettes and alcohol for Shinigami (Shinigami apples are withered and taste like sand) and will go through a type of withdrawal if he goes for too long without eating them. His withdrawal symptoms involve twisting himself up like a pretzel and doing headstands. He also states that he is shy around girls. In addition to apples, Ryuk is fond of video games.

Rem
Her appearance is quite skeletal, with long, spinal cord-like arms and bone-like skin. While Ryuk takes amusement in everything in the human world, Rem is almost the exact opposite. She views most humans with contempt, seeing Shinigami as the more evolved race.


Jealous

a small, doll-like Shinigami whose appearance suggests that he was poorly sewn together from mismatched fabric. He only has one eye, despite having two eye sockets.

Shidoh
He wears heavy clothing, obscuring most of his features, and his head is wrapped in bandages. Shidoh has a great liking for chocolate. He's also fairly timid.

Armonia Jastin Beyondllemason
Armonia Jastin Beyondllemason, otherwise known as Jastin the Jewel Skeleton. As his names suggests, Jastin's appearance is that of a skeleton adorned with all manner of jewelery. Highly intelligent, Jastin knows everything there is to know about the Death Note.

Calikarcha
Calikarcha is considered strange-looking even by Shinigami standards, having eight eyes lined up two rows on each side of his head. He has a penchant for cherries but dislikes sunlight.


Dalil Guillohrtha
Dalil Guillohrtha is a female Shinigami who passes time by stacking human skeletons. She has a liking for gold but dislikes bright places


Dellidubblly
Dellidubblly is a Shinigami who spends his time gambling. He is humanoid in appearance, but wears a bone mask over his face. He carries a scythe, making him thematically similar to the classical depiction of the Grim Reaper


Gook
Gook is a lazy Shinigami whose most prominent feature is his animal mask. Like Dellidubly, he too enjoys gambling.

Kinddara Guivelostain
Kinddara Guivelostain is a female Shinigami with a fierce appearance, having a huge fissure jutting out of her head and sharp teeth. She enjoys violence but hates excessive thinking


Meadra
Meadra is a large, slug-like Shinigami with stubby limbs. Unlike most Shinigami, she doesn't wear any clothing or decorative elements on her body. She enjoys moist weather but loathes dry seasons. Her enormous size gives her a dominating presence.

Nu
Nu is a Shinigami whose body is covered from head to toe with eyes. Nu is second only to the Shinigami King in terms of power. She is very intelligent and likes the feeling of others' regret


Unnamed Shinigami
An unnamed Shinigami. This Shinigami has an eyeless skull for a head. He wears a coat, a pair of goggles, and uses a tie as a headband.


Zerhogie
Zerhogie wears a Native American headdress and has a hook in place of his left hand. He takes an interest in humans in particular. Despite his feeble appearance, he has a highly inquisitive nature. His interests are in furry items and he dislikes moist temperature

((XD Just to let you know I don't know anything about Kindarra I'm just playing it along okay? So if it's totally out of character then....I'm sorry lol XD))

She sighs as she looks down at the small black book in her arms, hidden by the rest of her binders "Well....now what do I do?...I guess I need a plan for here." What is it with you and plans? Kindarra sighs, looking over Ayumi's shoulder. "Well I can't just wait around for someone to find out about this." Ayumi replied crossly "If you don't want to help then don't. I don't think something like you could be of service in that area anyway." They both glare at each other for a long time before Ayumi sighs and shakes her head "Of all the creatures in the world..." she murmers softly when she's in an isolated corner in the park "It had to be you..." Well I'm not happy about being stuck with you either! You humans are annoying creatures... Ayumi clenched her teeth "have you forgotten I'm not completely human? Nevermind...this bickering is getting us nowhere." She sits down on a bench in a lonely area of the park "It's time to figure this stuff out....I don't understand any of it." She runs her fingers over the book, deep in thought and frustrated as it makes less and less sense. She looks over at Kindarra thoughtfully Who would have ever thought.....

((rofl well then I'll just make it up as we go along XD))

She sighs and stands up, stretching as she looks down at her watch "it's late...And I still don't know what to do..." she trudged through the streets, passed the cars and buses warily, keeping her eyes open for anything strange.

((lol...awe my cousin sent me this picture of Jesus leaning over a girl in the bed and it said "I am always with you" that was so cute! ))

She freezes as she hears a tree fall and looks back, not but a yew yards away is the man under the tree. She stands there motionless for a time, considering the possibility of another notebook but then she shrugs it away. "it must be a coincidence." she continued to walk down the streets cautiously as Kindarra snickered.

After they were in a less crowded street, Kindarra asks So have you thought about the deal yet? Ayumi sighs "are you talking about that pitiful Shinigami Eye thing?" I guess that's a no then Kindarra laughs but Ayumi just shakes her head "I'm still giving it thought...but as for now it seems rather ridiculous. I don't have much use for this book in the first place." Kindarra sighs and looks at the death note You've only written down three peoples' names and what's worse is that you didn't even use it the fun way. Why is that? Are you afraid of killing people? Even the ones that deserve to die, you spared them. That's no fun, Ayumi. Kindarra pouts but Ayumi straightens up slightly "Hush...someone's following me...." she whispers in a barely audible voice.

She takes a turn through the same alley that he went through just seconds after he went into the apartment and picks up her stride, losing her stalker momentarily. She looks behind her as the silhouette figure rounds the corner about ten feet behind her. She comes to a stop and then turns around to face the figure "Would you like to see how creative I can get?" she whispers to Kindarra who chuckles in response.

While the man is still too far off to see what she's doing, she grabs a piece of the notebook paper then stops. "Damn..I need a name..." She quickly starts planning. Kindarra smiles Now would be a perfect opportunity to take up that offer. Ayumi sighs and shakes her head, putting away the paper "Not interested...." Kindarra stares at Ayumi incredulously then what do you plan on doing about this guy? Ayumi smirks "I wasn't born without knowledge of fighting." She rushes towards the man and leaps up in the air, kicking his face and knocking him to the ground, stunned by the surprise attack. She quickly and inconspicuously takes out what looks to be his wallet and looks at the ID "You're a dumbass aren't you." she smiles maliciously at the shocked man then starts writing in the deathnote. "idiots are not welcome in this world." she walks away, smiling, as the man starts writhing on the ground then falls limp. "See, Kindarra? I can do anything I need to...without those eyes..." but still...it's not such a bad idea... she thinks as she rounds the corner and resumes her walk out of that area of town.

She leaps back slightly, staring at him skeptically but quietly.
