The world had a thrid world war, which ended, in a devistating result. The result was a cave entrance was blown oppen. The cave entraance blocked off hundreds of years ago, was where Satretives lived, under the earth in a underground world. In short years the earth was occupied by half human and half Satretive. Now is the survival to see which will be eliminated and one who will dominate the other.


Humans- The longest dominate two legged mammal that lives on the Earth. Their main attack power is through technology. They are very weak without it.

Priests/Priestesses- Alongside the human's they are the one's who protect the humans when Satretives attack. They are also human, which slightly rely on technology, but most rely with white magic.

Satretives- A blood sucking creature, related to vampires. They have amazing amounts of strength, agility, eyelight, and all senses. Ontop of that, most have evolved to have a power. The power never effects technology in any way, and only effects the opponent's body in some way.

A withered past and a blurry future...

Mei sat on the steps of the small temple that the villagers had made for Yura, their village preistess. She watched quietly as Yura went through the steps of her ritual. Setting some herbs here, placing a statue there. Mei smiled as Yura's silver hair fell over her shoulder, creating a viel between Yura and the townspeople.
Yura placed her statue to her right and left and set the rosemary in between. She was the preistess of the village of Ohitoko. Even before the world war it had been a small village, and Yura's mother and grandmother had been the preistesses of the temple. When her mother passed away in the war Yura, at the tender age of 13 had taken on the role. Now she was 17, and growing stronger. But Yura didn't remember any of that. She didn't remember before the bomb went off and the caves opened a year ago. She had gone unconcsious and when she woke she remembered nothing but her powers. So she lived to help the townspeople, her people. She felt Mei watching her and looked over, smiling at her.

I live too fast, and I know I will loose her...

Mei smiled, even though no one could see through her masked hood.Yura was getting stronger and had been having dreams of her past, though she didn't remember most of them. But Mei was there for her whenever. The only thing was that if Yura remembered her past Mei thought she wouldn't need her anymore. Mei was a Satretive, a monster, a killer. She killed any that tried to hurt the townspeople or Yura. And Yura was a being of peace not death. And since ura's powers were getting strong she'd attract more Satretives, evil ones, and they would hurt her. So Yura would turn her back on Mei, and Mei'd loose Yura, the only person she fights for now. Her only reason to live.

So I'll hang on, never let go...

Mei clenched her fist, beating herself up for getting so attached to one person. It was a weakness. A weakness she couldn't afford. She breathed deeply and concentrated on Yura's chanting while she looked around at the temple. Yura had ordered out all the technology from the temple after she'd had a dream. In the dream she remembered how her father and mother had died. They had died in the war by guns, by technology. By little chips that were shot into them then exploded. Technology had killed the only people she cared for. So she killed technology within the village, knowing that one day soon there would be no power to run technology and there'd be nothing left to make bullets for guns and everyone would have to go back to useing weapons like the Satretives did.
Yura chanted quietly, then got louder as she prayed to her God and goddess for protection. and to plce wards around the village.

I dug into my chest...

Yura finsihed her prayers and gathered her things, walking back into the temple as the townspeople came to get the wards to put them up. Mei stood and followed her. Once they were inside Yura fell against Mei, holding her in a hug.
Mei held Yura. "It's okay Yura." She said quietly. She felt Yura's head move against her shoulder. "Don't worry. You did great. You're so much stronger." Yura's grip tightened, hurting Mei more. She wish she could tell Yura how she felt, but she didn;t want to ruin anything. So she pushed her feelings down again.

Mei and Yura heard the townspeople yelling. Yura let got of Meui and ran out, Mei following her. Yura pushed through them, her kimono not hindering her in the least. The people parted to let her and Mei through.
Mei stood beside Yura. "Who are you?" Mei asked, her hands resting on her scimitars.This boy was a Satretive and she didn't know if he was good or bad.

Yura shook her head and stepped forward, reaching her hand out and smiling.
"Take her hand Diesuke and follow us." Mei said as some of the people put forth protests.
Yura looked up and smiled at them then back down at him.

Yura lead him into the temple and set im down in a chair. then she looked to Mei.

Mei looked at Diesuke. "You need to give the money back. Do not worry about food. We will supply you with plenty." She said, glancing at Yura. "Diesuke. We know you're a Satretive. We need to know if you're good or bad."

Mei took the money. "Will you hurt her?" She asked, "or any more of the townspeople?"
Yura looked at him, her soft brown eyes calm.

Yura stood and walked from the room. She came back a few minutes later with noodles and tea, setting them down on the table for Diesuke.
Mei nodded. "Well since the townspeople aren't too happy with you we'll let you stay here.' She said, sitting back in the chair.

Yura shook her head and Mei looked at him. "You can stay as long as you need. You aren;t a burden." She said for Yura, watching her eat.
