Grade/class: First year/10th grade (she has skipped a grade)

Background: Met Airi when she was around 8 and Airi was 10. Airi had just recovered from her addiction and had been unofficially adopted by her father. Tsukiko immediately dubbed her "Ri-neechan" after seeing Airi's hair ornament. ("Ri" means "jasmine" and -neechan is a suffx given to older sister figures.) Tsukiko moved away, but vowed to work hard so that she can skip a grade and come to Bussokuski High School with Airi. She has just now managed to do so. She has been influeced by Airi a little too much, as she carries a white bow named "Suta-Raito" and arrows in a quiver with her wherever she goes. Tsukiko is able to see and communicate with spirits, as well as sense spiritual power. She now wears an amulet given to her by Lady Orora in order to prevent her mind from being overwhelmed with the sheer amount of spirits that reside in the temple, due to the fact that she has very little training with her ablities. According to Kurome, she is the one with the ability to open portals to the world of good spirits, known as the Key to the Heavenly Gate, although Tsukiko is not aware of this. She is the one to oppose the Key to the Daemon's Gate, Asahi, but has surprisingly become quite close to him, despite their being polar opposites.

Suta-Raito no Nami (Meaning: Wave of Starlight/Starlight Wave): Tsukiko's spirit, only discovered after arriving at the Xiaolin Temple. She takes the appearance of a swan like phoenix, white with silver highlights and blue edges at the ends of the wings, tails, and head feathers. She is often addressed simply as Suta-Raito for short, which is the name Tsukiko had given to her bow. Suta-Ratio has the same elemental affinities as Tsukiko-water and light. Suta-Raito has a calm personality, and is almost motherly at times. She addresses other spirits as equals, and is always formal, regardless of power or position. She is also very knowledgable, knowing facts regarding not only her own two elements, but the other elements as well, and often provides explanations on ablities and how they relate to the physics of the real world.
