No, I didn't spell it wrong.
Wrock.
As in Wrocking and Rowling.
[haha, get it?]

Yes, I am an avid Wizard Rock fan.
As in, I listen to bands that write songs about Harry Potter and the wizarding world.
Yes, I have no life.
Har, har, har.
It's actually very fun.
Many bands have very clever lyrics.

well, Harry and the Potters were the original.
and their catchy lyrics and awesome tunes make up for any lack of talent.

Draco and the Malfoys were created to start evil wizard rock.
wich is just as equally cool,
because even though their lyrics are mean, it's clever and funny (and sometimes true)

The Remus Lupins (aka Alex Carpenter and whoever he brings with him on tour but mostly Alex Carpenter)
are pretty darn awesome, singing about Remus Lupin.
my favorite songs of his/theirs would be "Loosen Your Tie" "Alone on Valentine's Day" "Teenage Werewolf".
They are his most popular for a reason.
And he's/they're great in concert.

The Whomping Willows are pretty cool, too.
But his stuff is more acoustic and "botanical"

One of my personal favorites is a pair of girls,
The Parselmouths.
they're an evil wizard rock/with-a-dash-of-techno-sometimes band
and they have some pretty clever songs like
"It's Not Half Bad" "Love song for Professor Lupin" and "Voldemort Fangirl"

Gred & Forge (not to be confused with Gred and Forge)
is pretty darn awesome, because everyone loves Fred and George.

Last but not least,
a very funny band,
The Moaning Myrtles.
who just freaking rule.
They are hilarious.
most popular songs: "And then I died" and "Prefects are hot" [not exactly suitable for little kids]

So, yeah.
They all have music MySpaces.
