The Great Flow:
A great river of life covers the world; It is called the great flow. It covers everything and exists in everything. It flows around the Earth and when a person dies they travel the river of life. There are three worlds. The Umbra, The Nexus, and Earth. They are all co-existent and surrounded by the great flow. When a person dies not only to the travel the river, the river of life sends a persons soul into the Umbra or the Nexus depending on there choices in life. The more positive choices makes a person flow to the Umbra, while the negative choices bring you to the Nexus. But you don't have to be evil to go to the Nexus and you don't have to be good to be sent to the umbra. Humans view the umbra as a heaven and the Nexus as a hell, but in reality the umbra is no more a heaven as the Nexus is no more a hell.
Laws:
All worlds have laws, not laws as in rules but laws as in they just are like gravity is on Earth. When a person goes to the Nexus they become a demon. When a person goes to the Umbra they become a Angel or Spirit. Both are immortal beings so they can control there aging so they can never die from age but they can still die. Demons can not get younger but they can stop aging or at least slow it down unless the devour life force. Life force can make them younger. Demons and spirits are both shapeshifters but demons transform as a form of mutation and spirits have no true shape and can appear any way they choose to. Demons can possess innocence (mortal beings), and spirits can not without risking to rip the hosts soul as well as there own soul apart but spirits can channel energy. For spirits to be able to get a physical form on Earth they need to be reincarnated lose there memories in process but is possible to regain them. Or they can be resurrected but takes a rare powerful amount of energy. Demons on the other hand need to possess a innocent in order to gain a physical form. But they cant posses a creature unless they are willing. Demons are very seductive and manipulative creatures. In the process of gaining a physical form, the host slowly dies because it is the life force that the demon is feasting on and growing slowly inside the host. Some times it takes more then one host just to get a proper physical form. Demons and Spirits do have alternatives to gaining a physical form that required extreme rare huge amounts of power, and certain requirements to be done.

The Demon/Spirit War:
The nexus became corrupted, and started to slowly fall apart. The reason for it to fall apart is unknown. Demons decided that it was a good idea to conquer Earth. If they were to take Earth, it could be there New Nexus. Spirits knew that Earth was the only thing that separated the Nexus from the Umbra and if demons took Earth then there would be nothing to prevent demons from going to the Umbra. Spirits feared this so they decided a planned Apocalypse. If the Earth was obviated, leaving nothing but a empty void then there would be no reason for demons to cross over. Not all spirits agreed so twelve special spirits came to Earth to seek out Chosens.
Chosens and the Three Temples:
Each Spirit represents a animal. With the help of shamans, they made Temples for the spirits and in each temple was made a forge. The forges were used to make Armlets out of a special metal from the umbra its self called Umbrium. Each temple made four armlets, each armlet containing one of the twelve spirits making the armlets alive making a total of twelve armlets. The Spirits then chose the barror of the armlet and its power they offered, to become the chosens.
In the beginning the spirits were helped to decide by holding trials inside the temples. The trials were made up of puzzles and obstacles for a person to try to solve and perform to see if they were worthy of the great power. Over time the trials were no longer used.
Chosens of the Armlets:
Chosens are given the ability to manipulate energy, taking a flame and making a fire ball, taking wind and use it to make things move, taking lightening and redirecting it else were, making water take shape. Of course they can not create elements only manipulate them, at costs. Without proper training and practice even manipulating fire can result into burning them selves. They can even manipulate energy in plants causing a plant to grow instantly but at the cost of taking energy from other plant life surounding it. And even manipulating energy takes energy from the armlet causing the armlet to grow hungry with a blood lust and thirst that can sometimes be unbearable by the chosen. The armlets also offer unique weapons capable of soul devouring for energy. They can even summon a armor but so fat can not be controlled, the armlet is alive with the spirit inside it and so it has a mind of its own and as a result the armor only appears when it needs to. But over time chosen's learn how it is triggered. But these powers do have its limitations.
The Law of the Darkened:
The armor is powerful enough to withstand any human weapon with out so much as a dent, but it is durable but not indestructible from demon and other spirit energy and weaponry. And chosens are not allowed to kill or harm innocence. All things born on Earth are considered innocent. Blood spilled on the Umbrium will melt away like acid in the spots that blood falls upon, and if a innocent is to be killed by the armlet it will cause the armlet to go against the chosen and slowly devour there soul until they are a soulless demon, far worse then death to a chosen. This is the Law of the Darkened.
Demon and Spirit Classes:
Demons are territorial and there are different classes of demons, such as Demon Lords that are powerful leaders and there is Serphans and many other classes of angels.

Characters Making Information
Demons:
The Demon information is listed in 1st Post. Note that there are different classes, and many different variations of demons. Demons are not necessarily Evil, just like Angels are not necessarily good. Demon Lords have powers that are far more powerful then any normal demon. There is a rite that is performed just to get the status as a Demon Lords.
Angels:
Angels and Spirits are not always good, often even neutral. There are like Demons many classes of angels, rites to be done, and so on. They are forbidden to interfere in human relations of any kind for doing so banishes them from the Umbra. It is a rule of the great council of spirits. The twelve spirits of the armlet are not allowed to go back to the Umbra for this reason.
Chosens:
Chosens are not just humans picked out by the spirit of the armlet. Chosens are anything picked out by the armlet. Demons and Angels are both options. Chosens have a responsibility to fight to protect Earth from its doom. Although over time chosens have walked away from these duties, and have turned against the others, as some armlets have been corrupted by different ways and turn against the chosens of twelve. Chosens and armlets that have lost there way are known as the Lost. Keep in mind Armlets choose the user, not the user choose the armlet. That is why they are called the Chosen.
False Chosens:
False Chosens are people with armlets that resemble the armlets of the Chsoens, but they are not made from the same material, and there armlets are usually embedded with a normal spirit if not a demonic one. They are usually not as powerful as a real chosen, and the powers can different from the ones of the real. They are never powerful enough to manipulate all forms of energy, and they tend to have different ability's then that of the real chosens. They usually can not summon armor or a weapons, but there are some people who have been able to get powerful enough entity's in the armlets to do so. But often the armor is heavy and makes them slow. Although if a person was to find even a fragment of Umbrium, and a strong spirit, they will never be as powerful as a real chosen, but enough to be dangerous to them. False Chosens are not bounded by the Darkened ether. (Umbrium is a spirit metal, that is light as a feather, and super resistant, but has a reaction to the Darkened, and can be resistant to a degree, but damageable by immortal beings and weapons.)
Innocence:
Innocence applies to Mortals. That means Humans, Dogs, and other earthly beings untainted by outside forces. Note that half demons who are half human are still considered immortal and do not apply as a innocent for being half demon or angel, is considered being a taint to the human side.
Other Character Possibilities:
There is no rules only guide lines to making a character. You do not have to be a demon, as you don't have to be human ether. There can be werewolves, vampires, undead, as there can also be aliens, although that will be a little weird (lol).

Demon Lord List
Garrion
Appearance: In his full form, he looks like he has spikes coming from both sides of his head, his eyes are pail white, and he has a bony structure, and although he may look fragile, he is actually quite strong, and one of the few more powerful demon lords. His skin color is a dark tan color. He is quite hideous.
Clan: None, that is why he serves his supposed god with so much loyalty.
Motives: He serves his Demon God, the Grand Demon, and will do anything for him.
Asukara
Appearance: Man with Raven wings, white skin, and bald head.
Clan: Raven Clan
Motives: Serves the Grand Demon, and helps protect his precius Demon Book of Shadows
Darkguinose
Appearance: He appears as a toad anthropomorphic. In later years, his image becomes more distorted and Hideous.
Clan: Clan of Storm King
Motives: Currently his motives are unknown but in Generation two, he is currently plotting to get rid of Garrion, and then Brandon.
Ragnagon
Appearance: Resembles a black canine anthropomorphic with elk horns. Wears black robes with crimson red coloring on it. In generation 2, his horns are gone, has scars on one side of his face, blind in one eye, and has three scars across his chest.
Clan: Clan of the Shadowing
Motives: Unlike his twin sister Morgana, he is the only one of the two twins who is able to go to Earth in his full form. He befriends Chehero in 1st gen. Something happens, and in 2nd Gen he holds grudges against Chehero.
Morgana
Appearance:Her real appearance is that like her brothers, only white haired. She is forbidden to go to Earth, and is forced to posses a specially made Witches doll that lets her mind inhabit the Doll and be on Earth.
Clan: Clan of the Shadowing
Motives: She plots to gather up the four Crimson Jewels, but for what purpose?
Garu
Appearance:In 1st Gen he appears as a young child and serves the Tiger Clan as a servant. At this time he is not a demon lord. In 2nd Gen, he has become a full fledged demon lord in but is cursed to look like a half tiger half human. He wears a silver Chinese tiger mask to hide his appearance. He is able to shape shift into a demon tiger.
Clan: Serves the Tiger Clan, but after he becomes a demon lord, he has no clan.
Motives: He was friends with Chehero, and lives to serve Chehero. He has a gentle kind heart. Later after Chehero chooses to be a Chosen and fallow the path as a chosen, and runs away from the clan, he chooses to banish him self, in order to seek a way to become a demon lord to protect, fallow, and be with Chehero who he continues to call "My Lady" Because he forces banishment on him self he is cursed to appear a bad mix of tiger and human. He secretly fallows Chehero, and protects her with out her knowing. He first makes a appearance in 2nd gen to protect the kids that Garrion has kidnapped, and to comfort them, he chooses to appear as a young kid to them.
