Shaaman (originally Shaman)

I'm putting this in the non-Angra music discussion forum because Shaaman no longer includes Andre Matos or Luis Mariutti.

Shaaman is the spawn of Angra's reformation, started by the members of Angra who left before the new lineup: Andre Matos, Luis Mariutti and Ricardo Confessori. Shaaman is Brazilian Power Metal and you can definitely tell in their songs. They released three studio albums so far: Ritual, Reason, and the new album with the new Shaaman lineup, Immortal.

If you are a fan of classic Angra or Andre Matos, I would check out the earlier work of Shaaman. If you like Power/Progressive metal in general, then you should definitely also check out their latest release, Immortal.
