The album Freakeys, released in 2006, is a project formed by Angra and Hanger Members. It's an instrumental Progressive Metal album.
The lineup is as follows:
Fábio Laguna (Angra, Hangar) - keyboard
Aquiles Priester (Angra, Hangar) - drums
Felipe Andreoli (Angra, Karma) - bass
Eduardo Martinez (Hangar, Lápide) - guitars
All I can say about this album, is that it's really fascinating. The album is very keyboard technical, the keyboard seeming to be the most prominent instrument in the music. I guess you can say this is Fábio's real shining accomplishment. Also, the album has so many sudden tempo changes and other various surprises, it kinda just keeps you guessing throughout the album.
Would I recommend it? If you like solid progressive instrumental pieces with insane keyboard solos, then yeah I would. Pick it up, if not, just to here Fábio at the head of a band.
