After I did some thinking, I am thinking that we should have squads, and Squad Capitans. The Generals will be squad Capitans, but will have the same authority as they did before. They will be the Capitan of a squad. I will make three squads, and add more once we get more recruits. The guild needs around 1500 more gold for three squad subforums. One squad will consist of the airforce. The other squad will consist of the marines and their sub-units( Armour, seals, Special Ops). The other will consist of the Army and their sub-units(Armoured, Infantry, Paratrooper).

I think its pretty cool idea. Well be able to organize better during combat.

Uhhh sir those aren't squads those are brances of the military I can do a bit of research on this, to be better organized if you want

Marines>Armoured the Alpha squad, infantry the Beta squad. Army> infantry the Delta squad, Armoured the Fox squad. Their will be a main commander of every branch. Then their will be Squad Captians, wich lead and command their own squad into combat. We need more people for this plan to work. And around 2500(I made a mistake on the last post) gold for the three sub-forums though >.> . Medical will just remain Medical, no squads. That way we will command our own people, but at the same time, have complete control of our type of the battle. Example: Delta gets on the radio and says, " Alpha and Fox squads, merge and take out the blockade so that Delta and Beta squads can breach into the interior base." See, we have "callsigns" Post stating that you understand my point even if you dont, still voice your opinion. smile

In the army, we call a squad about 10 to 20 people or something. I dunno, I'm just going off my head. anyway...a minimum of 4 squads would equal a platoon, and a minimum of 4 platoons equal a company, and 4 companies equal a brigade. (Little off the top of my head guessing that it's right info.)
I think that a category of certain fighters like the bombers, for instance, would be called a division, which in turn would have it's own squads.
by the way, in the phonetic alphabet, b isnt beta, it's bravo. Here's the alphabet:
A Alpha
B Bravo
C Charlie
D Delta
E Echo
F Foxtrot
G Golf
H Hotel
I India
J Juliet
K Kilo
L Lima
M Mike
N November
O Oscar

...Though oftentimes in the battlefront, They'll Mix up different words, Like they might say "b*****d Child, this is Cucumber Stud, We got Red Bulls in the Fridge, over."
(That was kind of a weird example, but you should get the idea)It's mostly to throw off the enemy, who would understand The use of "Bravo Charlie, this is Charlie Sierra.... yadda yadda yadda. Wouldn't do good to have the enemy hear your entire plan over the radio. Using that for squad names would give an advantage.

If any of us here are in the "United Gain Military Forces", I know Ari is, I want this guild to turn out like that guild. But not so much confusion. I would like to start working on this ASAP when we get the whole consept straightened out.

I believe it's too early to start something like that, and by early, I only mean the guild ain't big enough. Not only that, but some people who have joined haven't done jack s**t.
On an unrelated note, I'm going to post some suggestions that I've posted before seeing as there has been no response for them yet. (Perhaps because they haven't even been noticed yet, and this thread seems to at least have our attention at the moment.)
1. A OOC sub forum. Always nifty, if kept spam free.
2. An Introduction thread for the front page. The character profile thread doesn't seem to have the same type of charm, And seeing as I am not the owner, I don't think it would be right to just start one meself
3. suggestion thread. For posts like this. Actually, I don't see why I don't just start one meself seeing that its free..... Must be the laziness. yup.

I agree with james about few things but i have other suggestions. Originally it was my suggestion to Delta about making squads but as soon i got this idea i realized we have one problem... we need more people to do this. I guess we should Re-organize all forums and whole guild, BUT its still the same. I suggest to make only 2 subforums. Hmmmm lets say this that way. Our main forum is our BASE at it will be bootcamp, messhall, armory, hospital etc. On first sub forum ll be Battlefield with our operations, actions /so there ll be threads named as operation name. Then at end of mission we close that thread and later make other one./ The second one ll be our members sub forum, on it EVERYONE make his character information (thread titled like name of player) like:
1. Personal information.
Name:
Branch:
Squad:
History:
2. Equipment
...
3. Wounds, treatment time etc.
And first thing would be going to bootcamp, then creating character profile, and later CHECKING armory to choose weapons and equipment to put to personal information.
What do you think ? xD

I think that we should we should have a sub forum for crew only, the battlefield, which includes bootcamp, and all the missions we do. Then another one for chattering, for now, and when we get more members, make sub-fourms for the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and maybe a combined Special Ops(of all the military braches)

Ok, thanks for your suggestions. It is the weekend here so I will be on frequently smile . James, PM me so we can talk about this, and you helping(if thats ok). And I agree we NEED more people def. I think each branches sub-forum, they should have their own bootcamp, for thier recruits. Marine Generals/ selected officers train marine recruits, Army General/ selected officers train army recruits and so on. I think once this is done, we go on a massive recruiting run for our branches. That is once we get our branches bootcamps to make it easier than training two, or three people of different branches. You cant teach a pilot and a tank operator the same thing.

ahhhhh i guess my suggestion didnt passed xP too bad coz its commonly used and it works perfectly. And i dont think that there would be SO many gaians interested in army... /according to your plans of course/

No, I took everyone's suggestions into consideration. Like I said, this will take time. We definitly need more people. I agree with James's other post, that some people dont do jack s**t. There will always be people like that, and YES we can do something about it. If it comes down to banning the person, let it be so. If it means demoting, let it be also. Here is what im planning on doing:
1. Moving bootcamp to main forum.
2. Rewriting the "Everyone come here" thread.
3. Clearing out and renaming some sub-forums.
4. (Have a sugg.?).
5. Go on a MASSIVE recruiting run.
6. (Once done nuber five) Get the squad things going.
