This is a Private Roleplay between Taki and myself (Because if we don't...These two will rip us to shreads...or at least me XD)The Eevee's involved (For now) are- Flare Neki And with random apperances by the rest of their extended familys. ^^

Flare gazed into the sky lazly, both feet planted on the ground, his wings folded behind him, around him, the noises of Kashi and Fleet playing around roughtly and the soft sound of Mizu and Harmi talking with each other. He knew Elana was out, makeing sure her others were okay and getting the house ready for them to come and stay..or maybe she was at work, making other happy...He wasn't sure. He was so focused on the sky he didn't hear the Eevee behind him.
"Thinking about her again Feather-Brain?"
Flare startled before turning and glareing at the offending voice.
Calista stood behind Flare,, a small smile on her face before shakeing her head, "Go to her. Elana knows you arn't happy and that's why she always keeps her doors unlocked. So we can go to where we need to go and come back when it's needed.." She pointed at the sign outside of the house. Each resident had signed it.
Flare looked at the sign and relised whet Calista ment. Kai, Dawn and Shadow had left awhile back, Kai and Dawn to raise their Pups and Shadow just to protect his siblings and returned now and then. He made up his mind at that point, He nodding to Calista and took to the sky for the first time in months, heading straight for the last place he saw Neki.....

Neki was floating around the forest with her adoptive daughter, Sami. It had been so quiet lately ad she almost cried herself to sleep each night. Where had the one she loved gone? Had he found another, better than her? She felt a tear run down her cheek as she floated along beside Sami.
Sami lookd to her mother and blinked sympathetically. She licked her mom's cheek and whispered, "He'll come back, he always does. Flare would never love another but you..." She smiled.
Neki looked at her daughter before her mind took in what she said and she forced herself to believe it. They loved each other....Flare would never leave her. Neki stopped when they neared the tree where she had confessed her love to Flare. It was a knarled old oak and she remembered the occasion like it was yesterday...
"I'll go on ahead, mom. I'll see you later."
Sami dashed off without another word, leaving Neki by the tree to think.

Flare's wings were crying in pain but he ignored it, his mind on one thing and one Eevee only. His ears were pined back agenst his head, He truely and completely felt guilty. As he felw on, he made up his mind. He was going to stay with Neki, no matter what...Even....Even if she had found another... That brought tears to his eyes but he quickly brushed them away with a paw as her started reconiseing the area. He was defenatly glad he was almost there...His wings felt like they were to give out any moment. His eyes scanned the forest before fusterating him enough to call out nervously but loud and clear, "Neki?"

She didnt stop to think. As soon as Neki heard that voice, she was crying joyfully and zomming into the sky at Flare like a bullet.
"Flare!" She called out, her voice cracked by joy and not being used to yelling this loud. Her body came into matter as she was about to tackle/hug her beloved.

Flare braced himself as Neki tackle-hugged him, clinging tightly to her like she was a lifeline, nuzzleing her as he slowly landed, still clinging to her tightly, whispering over and over again, "I'm so sorry I dissappeared Neki...I was being stupid.." Tears formed in his eyes, not wanting to let go in fear this was a cruel trick of his mind

Neki closed her eyes and hugged him with all her love. She had missed him so much.
"Its okay now, we're together again..." now was not the time for one of her silly disappearing acts, but it was for them to reunite. She opened her eyes and smiled widely through her tears.

Flare pulled his head back and smiled reaching up with a paw and wipeing away Neki's tears, "I'm staying...being with the others was fine..but..My other half wasn't there....This is home." He smiled, his eyes meeting Neki's. He felt whole at that moment and he never wanted to leave her again..The pain from being apart wasn't something he liked..."I'm not leaveing you again." He spoke softly.

Neki brightened immensely at this and felt a few more tears threaten to spill. She quckly wiped her eyes on her are warmer and slowly released her mate.
"I had missed you so mush too...Sami knew I was in pain because we were separated, so she would walk with me each day, in hopes of cheering me a little. I had thought maybe...you had found..." She choked on the word, 'another.' She then shook her head. "But we're staying together now."

Flare smiled softly, "There will never be another..because with out? I woulden't be who I am...You were one of the first Eevee's I met when we were still kits." He still remembered that day..not as well as he liked to but he did. "The only thing I'd ever change from the past is leaveing."

Neki smiled and came back a little, gazing upon her mate with love and joy.
"I wouldnt be the way I am without you either. And it dosnt matter about the ast right now, it matters what we do with the present. And as long as we're together again, I'm happy."
