The home of the Umi Clan. This island sits in the center of the Pacific Ocean, surrounded by fierce currents. The beaches are white and the waters are crystal clear, the ultimate tropical vacation spot. The locals are always happy to see new guests on their island, esecially if those guests are mages. The Umi enjoy putting their strength to the test against the magic of the world outside their paradise of a home. The juices and desserts made from the fruits in the forests are beyond compare, as are the ocean delicacies. Every year during the month of August, a thick mist covers the island, clouding the sight of even one's own hand in front of their face. Further inland is where the clan makes its residence, living in standard, hand-built homes typically decorated with magical artifacts and archives. At the center of the living quarters is a much larger home, where the Umi Royals like Mizumaru live.
