Open RP for any mouse
The year of the mouse has finally come, and Shadow and Minn are carefully setting up all the festivities for the Chinese New Year party they're holding.
"WAAH!" Shadow screams as he falls off the ladder while hanging up a dragon.
Minn, about to run over, stops in her tracks, realizing Shadow is laughing. She joins into the laughter, decorating together.
"We better hurry up, the party's in an hour!" Minn exclaimed, looking at her watch. I sure hope none of them are early.

A cheerful Rei came bounding into the house (OOC: ...Right?) with her mate in tow. She giggled and looked at at the place because latching onto Lionel's arm affectionatly.
Calling out to Minn and Shadow, she grinned happily, "Heeeeeey~ We're early aren't we?" giggling a bit, she flipped back some of her dark brown hair, "Need help with anything~?"
Lionel cleared his throat slightly as a smile as happy as his mate's made its way onto his face, "Yes. We appreciate the festivities you'll be throwing. 2008. It's our year!"

"AAAH!" Minn shouted, surprised and throwing everything in her arms up into the air.
When he saw the pair, Shadow's smile quickly faded from his face.
"You can help hang up these red pocket fishies "Minn said cheerfully to Rei and Lionel.
"Wherever you want!"

Rei smiled happily once more and bounded over to Minn. She made a childish bow, causing her silky mass of hair to flop back and hit Lionel in the face as she came back up from her bow, "I'm Rei~ And this is Lion-eelll~" She motioned to herself with a dainty paw before turning around to fix Lionel's deep blue hair.
He sighed softly and picked up a few of the brilliantly red pocket fish, "It's a pleasure to meet you too. Ah, what lovely things," he turned fish around and examined it with interest, "Such a nice red. Like fire. Looks as if it would spontaneously combust~" he chuckled softly, but was interupted by the small girl next to him.
"Boooooom~!"

Noah came strolling into the house, good-natured as ever. He felt slightly embarrassed, coming alone - none of the other mice had wanted to come with him. Rozlyn had said she'd come, but then found a book too good to wait. Dashing was writing poetry. Ana was thinking about coming later (it was a party, after all), but not with her dad. And Alexander had been lazily strumming his guitar and looking so unconcerned with everything that Noah hadn't even asked him.
"Hullo!" he called over to the two mice setting up decorations. "Year o' the Rat, eh? S' gotta be a good'un!"

Rei whirled around at the somewhat familiar drawl. Her eyes met the face of whom the voice belonged too, but nothing came up.
Processing data.
"Noah! Good to see you again. Are Elli, Leo, and Ana here?" She looked behind the rainbow male and frowned as she saw... well, nothing.
Lionel gave Noah a pleasant smile and waved at him quietly, till engrossed in the paper fish.

A sweet melody floated through the entrance as a little brunette girl peeked in curiously. She held a little silver flute in a paw and a twisted lock of her hair in the other. Blinking afew times, Amy slowly stepped into the room and looked around curiously.
Twirling the flute in her paw, she hummed a quiet melody and waved at Rei and Lionel. At least, she thought that was their name. It was a little awkward being a new comer to the party. The home. The town eve. But Amy kept a pleasantly sweet smile on her face.

"Wow, wonder why you're all early, party starts in 20 minutes!" an exhausted but still cheerful Minn said."Nice to meet you all and thanks for coming! Shadow, can you go get the appetizers?
Shadow slowly climbed down from his step ladder and toddled off to the kitchen. he looked relieved that he could run away from the crowd
A few seconds past, and suddenly, a huge crash could be heard from the kitchen.
