Found & Lost
At CLAMP School University Division, Kakei is just another ordinary student in the science department - or is he? Though he's kept them a secret until now, Kakei has powers that make him far from ordinary. Unfortunately, it's not as much of a secret as he thought. Someone knows and someone wants to use those powers for his own selfish desires.
In the matinence department of CLAMP School, Saiga is just another ordinary worker - or is he? As it so happens, his job in the matinence department is just a cover. His really job is "finding things" and he's been asked to find and retrieve a certain someone for a very high price. That person is Kakei.
When these two meet, what will happen? Will Saiga turn Kakei over to his employer or will he have a change of heart once he gets to know him more?

Kakei's empty glance was fixed downward at the sink as he methodically and throughly washed his beakers, test tubes, funnels, and other tools. Another experiment successfully completed. It was rare that the results were any different. Kakei did so well with his experiments - and with his class work as well - that he had become known as some sort of a god among the other students from the science department. Without thought, he moved from washing to drying and then from drying to putting away. After putting the tools away, he locked up his cabinet, quickly scribbled the last of his notes in his notepad, and headed for the door. "Oh," his eyes widened slightly as he saw the door opening toward him; he hadn't sensed anyone coming toward the lab.

Saiga grinned as he walked through the corridor of Clamp School. 'Just find a guy named Kakei? Thats gotta be an easy job. I'll even take my time with it, earn a little money working here first.' He opened the door to the science lab and realized he almost hit someone with the door. "Oops, sorry young lady."

"Lady?" Kakei repeated, an amused smile playing across his face. "I'm afraid your mistaken."

Saiga smiled at Kakei. "I apologize, I just assumed you were a lady due to your beauty." His smile turned into a grin. "Hi, I am Saiga, and you are?"

"Kakei," he smiled. "And thank you very much. It's not often that I get such a kind - albeit unusual - compliment on my looks." He chuckled softly.

"I can't help but call it like I see it. So, I guess you're done with class Kakei?" Saiga couldn't help but wonder why this job was so easy. 'Its almost too easy. I will have to take my time to make sure this isn't a setup of any kind. From Kakei or from my employer. He never did mention why he wanted me to find Kakei for him...' Saiga thought to himself.

"Well then Kakei, would you be ok with doing me a favor? I work for maitenance, but I am new here. Would you mind showing me around a little bit? This place is pretty big." Saiga smiled at Kakei.

"And will I get to finish the tour before you carry me off to your employer or will you steal me away at the first chance you get?" Kakei asked. "Honestly, I have to wonder how someone like that managed to find out about me. Oh well, I suppose I just have to deal with things the way they are."

Saiga, not missing a beat answered right away. "Only time will tell Kakei, only time will tell. I am not so sure I can trust my employer, seeing as how I don't know what he wants with you. My job is to find things for people, its what I do. I figure that if I stick by you for a little while I might understand why he wants you, then we'll see what happens." Saiga grinned, not bothering to lie.

"Well then... shall we go?" Kakei exited the lab. "As you said, this truly is a large facility, so if we hope to cover any substantial piece of it, we should get going now."

"Most people would say Age before beauty in a situation like this, but since I am following you it is beauty before age." Saiga responded with a smile. It was a good thing he practiced these sort of lines at least once a night, they came in handy.

"You're a strange one... Has anyone ever told you that before?" Kakei smiled as they walked down the hallway. "This floor is mostly science laboratories. We have separate labs for the different sciences - chemistry, biology, physics... The materials in the labs differ slightly based on which science it was meant to be used for."

"Many people have told me that, but even more have told me what a cool and sexy guy I am." Saiga gave a small laugh. "Its good that these facilities are so well maintained, the kids need to learn alot these days to keep up with the world."
