So, time for a bit of info.
With valentines day coming soon, you think of love. Well, I think of being single and sad, and drowning myself in sweets. SO! This contest tests your sweets-making abilities! Make something sweet! Cupcakes, cake, cookies, chocolate, anything! I'd like to see some of the steps, with a card/you in the picture (you know the drill. Your Username and GSOS somewhere!)
(Bonus points if you mail them to me xp )

Yeah, really lame, really simple, but make something to show you're excited. A lantern, Cranes, anything! Whatever it takes to share your happiness of a new year! (Same requirements. User and GSOS on it/near it)

Entires are due in by 11:59 PM EST Feb 14; the winner will be announced and prize given out on Feb 15th

My entry for the Chinese New Year's Contest:
Until I can find the rest of my fancy origami paper, here's what I've got so far!

A lovely Pink butterfly on pink paper with tan highlights of butterflies and sakura blossoms and patterned circles (I rigged the butterfly up with some string so that it hangs down from my wire organizer on my desk. )

A crane on tan paper with highlights of green grass and orange dragonflies

And a white, yellow, and black lantern with a pink heart in the middle, with a note especially for the GSOS written on it biggrin

Hopefully I remembered everything in the picture. I can't go back and take another picture cause I already ate the pancakes. xD Almond Flavored too! :3

My frosting had to much liquid in it. Happy V-day was destroyed. D:

Once I made a pancake, I wanted it to look like a hippo or something big like that, but it ended up looking like a chicken, It was cute! xD We ate the chicken.. mwahaha...
