A large glass sphere in the basement of an abandoned log cabin can transport you to a world of its own. This powerful item was once in the possession of a dark mage, but long since abandoned. It's magic is still active though, and when touched, can transport you into a limited alternative plane of reality, inside the sphere. A deserted island, always in summer with blue waves all around the beach, has two enormous towers extending upward in the middle. The spot where you come in is at the top of one tower, and a narrow bridge extends to the other, larger tower top, with an expansive open building to provide every hospitality for guests.
The Heartless can be anything from weak to strong, although they tend to be of the magical variety...
Also, the reality of time is different here- when you are transported to this plane, you remain in here for 24 hours, but when you return, only one hour will have passed in the real world.

Fexick came from a portal just above the pentagram on the ground. He looked around, noting just how high up he was. He looked down and saw the ocean waves crashing against the tower roughly half a mile below. Rafiel emerged from a portal shortly after. He walked up to Fexick and looked down as well. "Pretty impressive eh? Eva made this whole place herself, but she never really uses it. So we should be able to train here. No promises that she'll be to happy that we came here without her knowing though."

Kyouran popped up behind them. "Ah who cares. She can whine all she wants. Now if you will excuse me." Kyouran ran passed them and jumped a good 30 feet away from the side of the tower heading straight for the water below. He started falling. "JURANIMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo" Kyouran hit the water below with a loud crash that sent a gyser of water up to the part of the tower Fexick was on.
Hikari almost had a heart attack when she appeared to see Kyouran jumping of the tower. She ran over to the side and looked down. Kyouran came up from below the water laughing as he floated there. "YOU F**KING IDIOT. GIVE ME A HEART ATTACK WHY DON'T YOU." Hikari screamed at the top of her lungs.

Fexick watched wide-eyed as Kyouran took a leap off the tower. Clearly he was the man without fear. Still, it was funny hearing the crack of the water when he hit it. Rafiel started over the bridge. "Let him play with the fish all he wants. YOU have some magic to learn." "Yeah, I gotcha" Fexick muttered as he followed Rafiel to the larger tower. On this structure was a building, a resort. Fexick figured this is what Rafiel was talking about.
They entered, and Rafiel looked at a bookshelf against the back wall. He saw four books. In order from left to right, 'Book of Rubicante', 'Book of Barbariccia', 'Book of Scarmiglione', and 'Book of Cagnazzo'. He turned back to Fexick. "Step outside for a moment. I first need to determine what style of magic will best compliment your physical combat style." They walked out to the massive courtyard outside the resort and Fexick readied himself.
Rafiel held his staff up to his chest and held his other hand over it. "Renren Terotero! Evocatio Valcyriarum Contubernalia Gladiaria! Age Capiant!" The wind blew around Rafiel and four gusts became visible. Each gust flew in a different direction around Fexick, and became a copy of Rafiel. Each was armed with a sword. "This test will determine, based on how you fight, just what type of magic you will be best suited to."
Fexick looked at the copies' positions, then changed his stance to one he typically used against multiple enemies. "These copies will fall after a few blows, so don't hold back! Now my brothers in arms! Attack!"
The copies converged in on Fexick and he leapt into the air. He drop kicked one backwards, and spun as he caught himself on his hand to kick another's legs from under it. The spin continued as he brought Chameleon up through the third copy, and sent a kick into the fourth, only to bring Chameleon down through its recoiling body. Two down, and two to go. The first copy that Fexick kicked lunged up and Fexick met it in the air. He caught the sword blade between his feet and threw the copy onto the other one that was coming to attack. Both of them laying on the ground, Fexick finished them with a Strike Raid, which destroyed them both. He caught Chameleon and regained his battle stance.
"Impressive. Those fluid movements and stream-like attacks are perfect for water magic." "Water?" "Indeed. By combining arcane magicks of the water element with your flowing attack style, your spells will compliment your power rather than hinder it."

Kyouran finished his swim after taking his leap of faith. He walked up the spiral staircase till he reached where he was before. He heard fighting and went to see what was going on when he saw Fexick take out Rafiels clones. He went to his own little corner and started thinking of what he wanted to learn. He was a close range fighter so long range Magic was out. He was suited for Lightning magic since for some reason or another he was even if he wasn't fast enough. That's why he was going to learn Shundo. He got to his Physical speed limit so he couldn't really increase it but with Magic amplifying his normal speed. Yeah it would make a difference.
Kyouran took a deep breath. From since he left this world, he had been thinking how to do Eva's personal technique and thinks he knows the Mechanics but since he hasn't talked to Eva about it, he would have to do Trail and Error. Kyouran put his hand up and a Ball of Lightning appeared over his hand. "STAGNET" The force of the compressed magic was great. Kyouran held it for a good 10 second when he smirked. He got the first part. That's when the ball started to become unstable. Kyouran sweet drop as an explosion occured. He went flying through a couple of walls before stopping, imbedded in a wall.
Hikari sweet drop as this happened. "Baka. Didn't you say you didn't know how to use the technique?" She asked more herself than Kyouran. Hikari took out some sealing papers and went to her own side. She had to practice her sealing Magic. "Telum of nox noctis. Telum of Lux lucis. Radiant ut plenus luna in nox noctis divum. luna vadum obduco ratio in qui decumbo malum occupo. 6 Cuspis Convergence : Radiant Luna Signum." She threw the papers which went around a tree that was moving in the artifical wind. A Moon like picture appeared on the ground before a Bright light shot up around the tree where the 6 papers were.
After the light subsided, there was a light doom barrier around the tree and the tree wasn't moving in the wind. It was like time froze in there. The Tree then started to disappear into the ground with the Moon picture on it. After it was done, a Moon like Black design was on the ground and the light was gone. The tree looked like it was sucked into the ground. If you could look under the ground, you could see that the tree was inside a circle barrier like a Ball.

Fexick watched with interest and amazement as Hikari used her magic. Meanwhile, Rafiel went to Eva's bookshelf and removed the Book of Cagnazzo. He began to flip through it. Fexick looked at the tree as it remained sealed in the circle. "Hikari-san, have you been here before too?" He was aware that she spent most of her time with Kenshin, so if she was ever here, she probably wouldn't remember. This was a retrospecticle afterthought.

Hikari shook her head. This place didn't feel like she had been her before like some other places she had been to. "Nope but Sealing Magic is something I know I have been able to do since I was a kid though I don't remember anything. I'm just able to do it and I remember the words and Mechanics. Its like my sword style as well." Hikari couldn't remember anything outside of these two things.
Kyouran walked through the holes he made and fell flat on his face when he made it to the grass. He felt like s**t though his body was just bruised. The walls repaired themselfs. One of the special features in the resort. Kyouran got back up and tried it again. "STAGNET." Kyouran held it for like 20 seconds before it became unstable but luckily, he cut the power and it just disappeared. he sighed as he wasn't getting it. It had to stay stabled for at least a minute before he knew he could even think of absorbing it into his body if he could that is.

"Hm, I see. Impressive nonetheless." "Fexick, catch" Rafiel yelled as he tossed Fexick the Book of Cagnazzo. "What's this?" "It's one of the books used by the archfiends of the elements. The one you hold there is a book containing the water arts of the archfiend Cagnazzo of the Water. Withing those pages are a few incantations you can use. I recommend staying on the first couple pages for now."
Fexick nodded and flipped open the book. He moved his finger along the first spell as he read it. Then something crossed his mind; he had no wand. Since wands and staffs were not bladed tools, Chameleon couldn't transform into them. Rafiel seemed to sense this, and went digging through Eva's things again. "The old girl's got some extra staffs laying around. I'm sure she won't care if I give one to you. She won't miss it."
He pulled one out that he thought was appropriate. A long, silver staff with an upward crescent moon shape on the top that contained a blue gem. The opposite side of the moon had two ribbon-like structures that wrapped around the topmost part of the long body. Rafiel threw it to Fexick. "Here, try this one" he said. Fexick grabbed it and found the first spell again.
He pointed the staff over the ocean as he read the spell. "Practe Bigi Nar Aqua!" ...Nothing happened.

Kyouran felt bad for Fexick so he would help him out. "You need to be able to feel the Magic within you and move it like a stream. Once you envision it leaving you, you should get the spell. Watch." Kyouran took the sword sheath off his back and held it in front of him. "Practe Bigi Nar, Fulgor" A small lightning bolt shot out of the end of his Sheath and hit a tree, shocking it. "See. Easy." Kyouran than went back to working on Stagnet.

"Alright, let's try this again!" Fexick focused. He took a deep breath, and imagined the magic forming at the end of his staff. He exhaled and held the staff forward. "Practe Bigi Nar Aqua!" A small spiral of water circled the end of the staff, but quickly fell lifelessly to the ground. Fexick smiled, at least he got it this time. "Thanks Kyouran." "You seem to be getting the hang of it. Keep practicing. Once you can be sure that you'll summon the magic to the staff, try to hold it for about thirty seconds."
"Right! Practe Bigi Nar Aqua!" Again, the water swirled around the staff. This time, it converged into a ball at the tip and Fexick was able to hold it for about five seconds before it fell. "Once we get through this, there are some Eastern Spells in these books as well. Ones the Japanese mages use, and they can be quite powerful indeed."

About 15 minutes later, there was a loud yell from where Kyouran was. "OH S**T" There was then a loud explosion that went through the area kicking up a lot of dust. There was than Kyouran's voice came through the dust. "AHHHHHHHhhhhhh......" The yelling got farther away as broken wall fell and Kyouran's voice went farther.
When the smoke cleared, there was a larger hole in the wall section of where Kyouran was practicing. Hikari sweet drop again at Kyouran and looked over to where the other two were. "He really doesn't seem to be getting the hang of that Stagnet thing. Why's it so hard to control?"

A massive spear of ice came flying from the inside of the building at Rafiel. He jumped to avoid it, and a very annoyed Evangeline darted from the resort. She leapt up and grabbed Rafiel by the throat before slamming him into the ground. "Rafiel you insolent a**! How many times do I have to tell you not to bring anyone, and I do mean ANYONE here without my permission?!" He seemed to be too stunned to answer. "Grr! You're completely worthless! You barge into MY resort, give MY Staff of Neptune to some random brat, and let him read MY book! What the hell is wrong with you?!"
Again, no response, and Eva had just lost what little patience she had. She threw him into the air and muttered a spell under her breath. "Lic Lac La Lac Lilac! Sagitta Magica! Dies y Un Spiritus Glacia!" Eleven arrows of ice took off up at Rafiel, and all converged on him at once. He fell to the ground, and Eva seemed content with her revenge. She turned and stormed over to Fexick. "AND YOU! Just what do you think you're doing with one of MY STAVES?! HUH?!"
Chachamaru walked up behind Kyouran, and bowed. "Greetings Kyouran. It has been a long time since last you visited. What brings you here, and would you care for some tea?"

Kyouran huffed back to the Tower he was in when Chachamaru's voice came from behind him when he reached where he was. "hello Chachamaru-san. Its been quite some time and that would be nice." Kyouran turned his attention to Eva and pulled out a book. "Eva, I brought your book that you wanted and since you weren't home, I thought I would show everyone your resort though I didn't say that they could touch your stuff. I was waiting for you really." he threw the Book at her, which she caught easily. He looked at the now repairing wall and sweet drop. That was a big hole. "Damn, copying your Magia Erebea isn't an easy thing." Hikari just stood there writting more Sealing tags for her magic. Totally oblivious to the others after a while.

Eva shoved Fexick aside as she walked over to Kyouran. She swung her arm and hit him in the head with the book. "Fool. So you're trying to master a spell that took ten years to create in a day? Please don't tell me you're that stupid Kyouran." She snapped her fingers. "Chachamaru! Check his head for me. I need to be sure I didn't cause him any brain damage."
Chachamaru nodded and quickly held up her fingers in front of Kyouran and made him count them out loud. She gave Eva the okay. "Hmph! That kind of spell at your level requires my supervision so you don't go killing yourself anyway! And would you mind telling me who these two are and what they're doing here?!" She refered to Fexick and Hikari.

Fexick walked over to her and bowed. "You must be Evangeline. My name is Fexick, and I came here to learn some magic from Rafiel and Kyouran."
Rafiel eased up, a little groggy. "As for the staff Eva, I figured you had so many lying around that you wouldn't care."
