Well, I'm not exactly an expert in the whole Lolita style (although I do try my hardest) and I was wondering where you guys stood on the dilemma of having quite short hair.
Mine's not even shoulder-length and is quite layered, so puffs out and doesn't exactly go sleek and flat like the hair of most of the Lolitas I've seen. Also, the style makes it difficult to do anything with other than put on a very small headdress or a couple of bows.
Any help?

You totally can.
I think you can curl your hair inward give yourself a sorta mob hair look.. or is it bob... ive seen lots of cute examples by one of my favorite lolita aritsts. (she does the angelic pretty pictures).

And if you realy know how to pull this off. Ive seen some asian girls do it but i doubt i can pull it off. I just think that done right it would look nice... my opinion XP

The only other Lolita in my city has rea really short hair, and it's awsome. Try straightening it inwords maybe?

You could always get hair bands with bows. Or, little barrettes work too.

Well first off, No one should consider themselves an "expert" of a certian fashion. All that maters is that your an expert of your personal style, dosn't matter what group it gets into.

Secondly, of course you can be a lolita with short hair, it's your style, do what you want. Lots of lolita here in Japan have short hair.
