Everything was set. Zaito's schoolbooks, bags, wand, leisure reading, and anything else he could really imagine was already shipped to Hogwarts and awaiting his arrival, except for one thing. For awhile now Zaito had an idea for a companion. Some people become emotionally attached to animals. Fickle creatures that die after a few years of companionship that you waste trying to understand them since you love them so much and the best that can happen is you trick yourself into believing you actually understand the creature. Zaito on the other hand was the more logical soul, believing he'd prefer an emotional attachment to something he'd grown to know and love, music. He'd been playing violin since he was 7 under his father's demand, and time passed he grew to love the instrument and took it up to himself to continue his learning campaign. 8 years have passed since he first picked up the violin, and now he had a large collection of classical and fiddle style music under his belt. These facts in mind it made perfect sense for the young Japanese male to enter the small magical instrument shop that diagon alley sported.
As he entered the shop one specific instrument was on mind. A violin, but not just any violin. One that could be played, amplified, distorted, have re verb and many other features the guitar had that he enjoyed so much. More importantly he wanted a violin that could play beautifully on its own, a magical one. The last thing it needed were fire-proof, water-proof and self repair spells so nothing would destroy the precious instrument. Since it would never live Zaito was fine with creating an emotional bond with the instrument. With the price being a negligible feature for the violin Zaito soon found what he was looking for. The features including everything he was thinking as well as a playlist he could sort through verbally and an AI he could talk to for song selection. Even the voice was customizable. He fell in love with the violin before he even passed the money to the kindly old woman behind the counter. A violin case was purchased in tandem with the violin, with a quick transfiguration his personal logo of a yellow snake eye was emblazoned across the front of the case.
WIth a quick thanks sent towards the kindly old woman he gently placed his new violin within the blue chrome velvet on the inside of the case. He closed the lid before zipping the case and latching the sides. The entire time he hadn't said a single word, there was no need to, but he did offer a wide and genuine smile to the woman. Grabbing the handle he decided to treat himself to some ice cream before continuing on his way. A twist cone played through his mind as he habitually scratched the back of his head, fingers playing through his thick and tangled black hair. The outer layers were straight, yet the fingers caught on the wild jungle below the canopy of black. The bell above the door rang as he walked through the arch and walked towards Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour
